“Had an awesome experience at Pie Sci in Oakland Park. its hard to grab food on the go when its medically necessary to be gluten and dairy free. They do just that at Pie Sci! Picked up a pie to eat before the Tigers playoff game, game lost but Pizza was a home run!“

“Took my daughter and her friends for a sweet treat here on her birthday and we LOVED everything about it. The dipped ice cream bars were ahhhmazing. We tried 3 different flavors and all were a hit. I personally had the sweet and salty and I still can’t stop thinking about it a day later. Staff were so kind, patient, and friendly. And the place is picture perfect to document your experience. Can’t wait to visit again with my husband and sons who didn’t join us.“

“We love iFreeze! We took our daughter who has Celiac Disease. They have items marked as gluten free on the menu. She had the S’mores ice cream and loved it. They were very knowledgeable about Celiac and cleaned the machines before use. They keep all GF items separated as well. It’s so important to us to have safe places for our daughter to eat and have dessert. Would recommend iFreeze to anyone!“

“I was blessed by Karen, the owner. I didn't look at the hours. I was just told that I could get superman ice cream there on a cone. When I arrived they were closed. I tapped on the window and explained that I was on my way back to NC and would pay double for my ice cream. Even though they hadn't opened yet, she serviced me and wouldn't allow me to pay her. Went yesterday for their first wingding Wednesday and had some delicious wings and banana pudding ice cream. We’ll be making this a regular summer spot. They were fairly busy with only a short line, but the staff were knowledgeable on their flavors and gave great recommendations with generous servings. “We just tried Detroit Water Ice Factory tonight for the first time. The guy working was very helpful explaining everything and recommended a few flavors. We got the strawberry lemonade with ice cream and it was delicious!! We also tried the caramel latte hot chocolate and it was by far one of the best we’ve ever had! We can’t wait to come back!! “I want to give a huge shout out to Here's the Scoop Ice Cream for showing up at a moments notice to Edison Elementary in Westland today for their field day when the Kona Ice truck we booked and paid for did not arrive. Here’s the Scoop came within 2 hours of my inital panicked phone call with enough ice cream for all 450+ kids. If you are in need of an ice cream truck in the future, please consider them. “Welcoming and friendly staff! It’s a cute little spot for frozen yogurt. They’ve got the classic flavors like cookies & cream, chocolate, vanilla, cake batter, and strawberry, plus a few fun extras. There’s a good variety of toppings, and they all tasted fresh.

You don’t get to add your own toppings, which is a bit of a bummer since that’s part of the fun of self-serve froyo—but the girl who helped us was super nice.

It came out to $17 for two cups, which is about what I’d expect. Just a heads up: there’s a $5 minimum if you’re using a card.
