“Amazing experience. They were incredibly sweet when we ordered on the phone and when I arrived the lady was really friendly. She asked me about my day and job and just genuinely kept me engaged in easy conversation while they finished up. We ordered subs and they were divine. The ham and cheese was exactly what you want in a ham and cheese, and the buffalo chicken was incredible. The salad was delicious too. Definitely our new sub spot.“

“My husband and I decided to try a cooking class to celebrate Valentines Day. We could not have had a better experience! We made a garlic lemon vinaigrette wedge salad and chicken Parm with fresh made pasta, followed by vanilla Gelato. Our instructor Jessica was super friendly, helpful, extremely personable, and knowledgeable. We can't wait to go back and try another recipe! We had a couple of drinks while we were cooking, which were also delicious. They have a ton of specialty pastas, cheeses, wines, oils, etc, so we came home with new things to try as well. We are looking forward to visiting Jessica again, although the entire staff was exemplary!“

“This place is really beautiful..the decor is beautiful and colorful. It has 2 levels a bar and pen kitchen. What i found weird is the paper table clothes. That seemed tacky and weird. We stopped in for mimosas and empanadas. Nothing wow there. The empanada had goat cheese chorizo and eggs with Machengo cheese. Ok but Not great. Weird taste ? The Mimosa was a bit pricey and the shots of 3 juices they give for per Bottle of wine are not enough. Nice service but Overall Eh...but its a big Beautiful place. Love the decor.“

“An excellent anniversary or fine dining experience to go to. The drink selection has a perfect amount of whiskeys to try but their scotch selection needs a few more, I suggest Highland Park, ?. But I the steak and fish selection is great and you can go back multiple times to try out different steak and sauce varieties. Bonus points to the restaurant for having mocktails for my wife who can't drink right now. She loved them. One reason why we choose Chop House for our ten year anniversary.The blt salad was a perfect app. The scallop potatoes were amazing, the asparagus was great and the anniversary dark chocolate and strawberrys was a nice touch. We got dessert to go and we should have gotten two of the carrot cake desserts. Baristas are friendly and quick (just like the wifi), mostly quiet to do some work projects on the computer but best of all - They give you a great cup of coffee at a very reasonable price. This is a little gem in Grand Rapids. Pick it over the major chains and "trendy over priced" coffee shops. I can't imagine you will be disappointed. 5+ stars.“

“The quality of the food is always top of the line. The beef melted in your mouth. The shrimp bisque, delicious. The kitchen forgot to put the blue cheese on my salad & there was little if any dressing on it... it was beautifully arranged though (a work of art!) Oh! the fresh mozzarella appetizer left us wanting more! & the smoked risotto was delicious & a cool experience (how did they do that!) The homemade bread, crusty outside & soft inside; perfect. And as always the flavored butters are a treat. This was the first day for these students, so they were a bit nervous. & we waited a bit for our left overs to come out. But all in all, we love coming here, for the food & the students!“

“Came here for the first time in November 2023 for my birthday. Second was on Easter 2024. Both meals were great. Service and management was especially great on each visit. One of my family members meals was brought to the table next to ours and was brought back to the kitchen to be re-made. This happened twice. The 3rd time the meal was made it was brought out my a manager and his first words were, "third times a charm and it's already been taken off the bill". Luke (manager) did an outstanding job and apologized even know it wasn't his fault. Service was exceptional. Servers make mistakes, and don't worry I still gave my customary 25% tip on the total bill if had included the late meal. 5 stars from me. Food was amazing and atmosphere always on point.“

“Ordered the breakfast sandwich with avocado, mayo, and egg with a side of potatoes. The bread, avocado and potatoes were very tasty. However the egg is not good at all. It is a weird texture because it seems to be a fake egg which is not what is advertised. It threw off the texture and taste of the rest of the sandwich which is disappointing because everything else was very good including the coffee. Would visit again but not for breakfast food.“
“I have been to this place a few times in the past, probably eight years ago and earlier. I loved their sweets then. I decided to visit again today with a friend. I showed her the main picture of the cafe on Google maps to lure her with me. We were quite disappointed when we got to the place. The picture was nowhere close to what they offered now. It would not have mattered if they had those desserts anyways. There was no seating available inside since most tables were 4-person tables occupied by one person each. It looks as if they don't seem to want more customers. They can accommodate more people by converting some of their large tables to one or two-person tables.“
“We were very happy with the vegan cake that Cakabakery made for our wedding. It was delicious! Cakabakery was nice during the planning process and offered us samples of multiple vegan flavors. They delivered the cake to our venue as well. The only small complaint is that the box they brought our bride/groom cutting cake in was too small to close, so it got crushed when we brought the rest back home. It is still delicious and we will enjoy the rest of it.“

We also had better customer service than with the other baker we were initially thinking of going with - very grateful we went with dreamscape.They were very helpful in picking out cupcake flavors and choosing design colors to match our event.
