“Had a delicious lunch with my husband today 😄🍴! We started with the fried pickles 🥒🔥-crispy, hot, and full of flavor. Then we shared a Margherita pizza 🍕❤️, which was piping hot and just as tasty, with a perfect balsamic drizzle on top 😋✨. Our waiter was super attentive and kind 🥰. The restaurant was a little chilly ❄️, but the cozy atmosphere made up for it. Everything was so enjoyable that we’ll definitely be coming back soon! 🙌🍽️“

This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. First of all, the food was amazing (our son said the deep dish was better than Giordano’s). But more importantly, Rob and his staff took were beyond hospitable to our 3 kids and I as we spent the next 5 hours utilizing their Uno cards, Connect Four and enjoying their complementary popcorn. If you’re ever in the Grand Rapids area we highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll definitely be back next time we come through Grand Rapids.“

The first 2 (grilled prawns and pastas) were 10/10, some of the best food I've had, but the final main dish (pork chop for me) lacked balance. The first few bites were impressive but the richness eventually exhausted my palette. more like an 8.5/10. The food was in general great and very high quality and well thought out. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere felt mostly sophisticated.

Overall, I'm pleased with my experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for elevated Italian food on this side of the Atlantic.“

“I really wanted to love our visit because we’ve had such great experiences at the other Flo's locations, but this time was just okay. On the positive side, the staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming! They greeted us right away and made the pickup process easy.
The pizza itself had great flavor—the sauce is definitely a highlight, and they don’t skimp on the toppings. However, the crust was a bit inconsistent this time; it was a little doughy in the middle and didn't have that signature crisp we usually expect from Flo's. We also noticed the prices have crept up quite a bit recently, making it a little less 'budget-friendly' for a casual family night than it used to be.
It’s still a solid local spot, but hoping for a bit more consistency with the bake next time we stop by!“

The cheese is 100% real mozzarella, mini pepporni is a plus .
Cocktail selection is pretty decent, not too expensive.

He and I are both foodies and love going on adventures for restaurants that go a step above in both food taste, presentation, atmosphere and service. And I'm here to tell you that Alfanos hit all of these with flying colors. Cody and Alex were our bartenders/servers. They were excellent. I had the Chicken picata and it was off the chart with flavor and presentation not to mention a healthy serving. Delicious is all I kept saying. Compliments to the chef!!!!! My goodness I can't wait to go and try something else. My husband had the chicken parmesan dinner and too was very pleased. Thank you very much to our servers and the Alfanos for a wonderful date nite and dining experience 😊 we will definitely be back.“

They also have a gluten free option for the ones with celiac, that one was great as well. We just moved to the neighborhood, and I could easily see myself coming here weekly.“

“We were there as guesta to another couple who loves this place. The staff was shoet but the servers still got the job done quickly. The pizza's are a thin crust and they come in one size but they have lots of topping options. The pizzas had a good amount of topping. My friends order 1 pizza and when that is delivered they order a second. They have a very good flavor and a good price for the specialty pizzas.“
