“My wife and I enjoyed the ambiance of the downtown Auburn Hills area, lots of people around. I appreciate they have a patio here, but we opted to sit inside to avoid the heat on the evening we went.I love the concept- wines from wineries around Michigan that usually we wouldn't even know about. Maybe they're way up north or wherever, but this place brings it right to the neighborhoods of Metro Detroit so you can try a few to see what you like.The flights were bit pricey, 3 of $16, but the pours were generous. I actually would've preferred half-pours if I could've tried three more instead for that price.I didn't find anything I couldn't live without, but my wife and I each ordered 3 different wines in our flights, so we could actually both try 6. Therefore, we went with 6 dry reds, because that's what she drinks. I liked a few of them.I'd definitely return to try some more. A good date night. This is the second location we've tried, Shelby Township being the other.“
“We had just gotten married & had visited their location in Minneapolis last year for our engagement. Nora set this location apart from the one in Minneapolis. She was awesome, very attentive & consistently checked in on our party throughout our time in Troy. The food was delicious but her customer service was better. This will be our special place to celebrate going forward.“

“Really nice wine list, and couple that with the cheese plate and it's a wonderful start to a relaxing evening. Melanie was our server, and was attentive and fun. The lamb ragu, if you like pasta dishes, is a hit. The dessert choices are not extensive, but then again, the restaurant is not massive in size. I'd rather the volume of choices to be part of the entrees, and not at the finish, when I'm already full!“

“Had the chance to dine at Sylvan Table for the first time, and without trying to sound hyperbolic, it was absolutely one of the best meals I'd ever had.The restaurant is located in quiet Sylvan Lake. It's a genuine farm to table concept restaurant with frequently updated menus based on what ingredients are available season to season. The building itself is a large wooden barn with multi level dining and the high ceilings, exposed wooden interior and multiple fireplaces gave it a warm, rustic and yet modern atmosphere.The service was exceptional, including a server taking drink orders while we were waiting for our reservation and the incredibly attentive table service that never felt intrusive.The food is absolutely extraordinary. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavors including surprises like the notes orange in our soaked olives. Our entrees and sharables were no different, each a wonderfully complex blend of complimentary tastes and textures, the enjoyment of which we expressed audibly with almost every bite.Reservations are highly recommended and we'll be eagerly waiting for an excuse to back.Parking: Parking is adjacent to the building and there are more than enough spots to accommodate guests“

“Great place to go for lunch or dinner. The food is great. Can't beat the Old Detroit Classic Burger with fries or onion rings. Plenty TV's so you won't miss your favorite sports. A must stop if you're just visiting Lake Orion or living LakeOrion.“

“Came here when our other wine plans fell through. They were willing to accommodate 7 of us on a Friday night at 6:15. They were very helpful and friendly. The environment is not as cozy as a winery up north. You don't feel like you really want to sit and stay for a while. But the nice selection of wine will make me return!“

“Seared pork belly is awesome. I've had it twice but did not take a photo. Will definitely get it Everytime I go. Portion was bigger when I went on Tuesday. Was much smaller when I went on Sunday. The service was much better on Sunday than on Tuesday but still okay.“
“Well, if you follow me, you know that if in a city/state that has a Ruth's Chris (RC), I'm going. I went. I was disappointed. It pains me to even say it. I've only had 1 bad experience at an RC, and that was in San Antonio. Well, we have somehow circled back around to a bad 1. This time, in Detroit, Michigan. Well, technically, it's in Troy, MI, which is a little suburb outside of Detroit.Service was slim to none.1. We asked for more bread. We never received it.2. When I made my initial order, I was very detailed and requested extra croutons with my salad and A1 for my steak. Neither came out.3. Our table was cleaned once. Yet, our empty bread plate, appetizer plates, salad bowls, and used napkins were plentiful on our table. I stacked them to make room.4. Our guy was rarely seen. He popped up to ask about dessert and the check. You know, at times when it was obvious that you were possibly waiting on someone or something.5. Not a service complaint, but it was extremely dark in there. I know a certain ambiance is expected, but almost everybody in there pulled their phone out to read the menu. I didn't because I just knew it so well, but damn RC turn on the lights. Don't Teddy Pendergrass me.“
“Clarkston location, lunch 2/14/24. Decent craft beer selection, for our IPA tastes. The Smokehouse fries were probably the best "loaded fries" I've ever had. We also had a great burger and fish n chips, no complaints. Server Brooke was incredible--we'll ask for her next time. Lots of TV's. We'll be back!“
“I dot know why I have not reviewed nectars. First, Tina is our favorite waitress, has her own drink named after her. My friends named the Tinatini after Tina! Tito's is served here- King of Vodkas! Thanks Dena! The food is VERY good- Superb! Love it! Did I say I love it? The homemade soup! Yes, Nectars is making homemade soup out of a Wine and Cigar Bar! The next one of my favorites is the chicken, the grilled kabob is the bomb! Right? Had to say it like that! The grilled chicken dinner, so good and flavorful. That' what I like, they are not afraid to season the meat. Forget, those who don't want salt- they season, I'm sure it's many layers of seasoning and marinating to come out so juicy! Ok, but guess what else? The broccoli is perfectly cooked, not too hard and not too soft- perfecto! One more..ask for potatoes with jalapeños and you won't regret it. Now, I hope there is an left for me be t time I go! I am starting to think my late review is because I like to get a seat when I come in.“
“Was looking for a new place to grab a quick snack before going to the movies, and Sidecar Slider Bar did not disappoint! We stuck to the shareable menu because we planned on eating a ridiculous amount of popcorn, and the items we picked were amazing! We went with the waffle truffle parmesan fries, roasted balsamic and blue cheese Brussel sprouts, and southwest egg rolls. The truffle fries were absolutely hands down the best parmesan truffle fries I have had, and I have had them at a few different establishments. They were hot, fresh, big, and I loved that they were tossed in a truffle oil AND covered with a parmesan truffle sauce instead of just a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. The Brussel sprouts were really good. They also come with bacon, but we aren't pork eaters, so we ordered them without, but they were still awesome! The balsamic and blue cheese crumble complimented the crispy Brussel sprouts well. Last but not least , the southwest egg rolls. They came with a side of sour cream and a zesty spicy ranch type dressing. They were great, stuffed with the perfect amount of black beans, corn, chicken, cheese, and spices. When they say shareable, they mean it because those three dishes had the two of us extremely full and needing a brisk walk before heading to the movies to fill up on movie theater treats! In all, it was a great new restaurant experience that I will definitely return to have. The wait staff was awesome, and the place was clean, and the vibes were great. “They were out of Jack Daniel's and 3 different beers we asked for and the cheesecake. Our waitress was amazing, friendly and fast and very apologetic for all the items they were out of. I can understand running out of one or two things on a busy Saturday but they weren't overly crowded and to be out of that many things points to poor management in my mind.“
