“Very impressed with the food for our daughter's graduation party. Our guests gave several compliments. I love how the food was pre-heated for us and sealed in five pound bags, making it super convenient to keep the sterno trays replenished throughout the evening. Barrett's staff recommended we keep the extra food in coolers to keep it warm and it worked perfectly! Will definitely use Barrett's again!”

“We placed a small catering order this past weekend for our son's first birthday party and the morning of the party, half of our guests canceled due to illness. We called in a panic to try and downsize the order and ultimately had to cancel our taco bar. Whomever we talked to was incredibly gracious and understanding but we felt terrible for our change in plans. We had our hearts set on mexican food and were able to still place a pickup order for our remaining guests that afternoon. From burritos, bowls, quesadillas, and guac, our guests enjoyed it very much! The portions were impressive, everything was hot and fresh, and well packaged. Incredible value, great quality food - we highly recommend Fiesta Burrito and can't wait until our next visit. Thank you!”

“Bab El Salam is my favorite restaurant. The food tastes wonderful and is served by warm and friendly people. My family has been eating there for almost 7 years now and have never had an unpleasant experience. “I had an absolutely delightful experience at Y’OPA Frozen Yogurt during my visit to Portage, Michigan! As a tourist, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the incredible customer service from Kenisha truly elevated the entire experience. She was incredibly warm, patient, and knowledgeable, guiding my boyfriend and me through all the available frozen yogurt flavors with detailed and enthusiastic descriptions. Her helpful suggestions made us even more excited to create our own custom treats!

The staff’s friendliness and the whimsical, delectable flavors of the frozen dessert made this visit unforgettable. It was such a fun and tasty way to cap off our day. Thank you, Y’OPA, for a memorable and delicious treat, we’ll definitely be back!”

“I have been a loyal customer at Ritter's (Portage, MI) for at least 10 years and it is because of their delicious Icecream and friendly service. During my visit today, I was disappointed in how a member of the staff handled a mistake with my order. I am not sure if she was the manager or owner, but during the confusion of getting my order and charges correct, I was still unsure if I was receiving the correct change back, especially after she mistakenly gave me back the wrong amount the first time. As I was still trying to figure it out in my mind, someone must've spoken to her through the headset microphone she had on and she says loud enough for me to hear, "she's arguing about a dollar." I felt this to be quite rude to allow me to hear, especially since I was not "arguing" and after I waited patiently for them to make the corrections to the "mistakes" that they had made. Afterward, I relayed to her that I just wanted it to be right, regardless of if it were only a dollar, as I feel the dollars (and loyalty cards) I use to pay for my order are earned and mine. In all my years of being a customer, I have never been spoken about in this way. I'm hoping that it will be the last and that it was just an off day.”

“Panda Dynasty is the best food in the Kalamazoo area. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always gotten their food on my birthday. I usually get the same thing every time (beef with broccoli, sometimes with egg drop soup and crab rangoon), and whenever I do try something new, I always love that too. It’s always ready quickly, too, even though they make it fresh! If I could give more than five stars, I would.”

“My husband and I went for lunch on Valentine’s Day we love Red Robin’s food is always great our server Diamond Was an excellent waitress very attentive made sure we had refills made also made sure we were happy with our food the only complaint I have is that the supervisors were just standing around never table touched I think table touching is very important for a manager/ supervisor especially on a holiday other than that excellent experience”

“Always a great sub. Sometimes there's a few people in line, but it's worth the wait. Most of the staff is very friendly. I did get stiffed once on an online order where I ordered & paid for extra meat but didn't get it, so I prefer to go in and watch it made.

Vegetarian options: Basic veggies available, but not a great variety.

Parking: Decent-sized lot shared with other businesses in the strip mall.

Kid-friendliness: Tables & chairs for seating, not sure about highchair or booster seats. Very basic & somewhat small inside.

Wheelchair accessibility: The door would fit a wheelchair, but it does not have an automatic function. Parking lot does have handicapped spaces.”

“The guy making our food did a killer job and was very personable. The sandwiches were just what we needed. The Michigan brand potato chips with the cherry flavor were tasty with Vernors. My gf from Montana hadn't tried any of it before. Thanks for making the experience a great one. There was only one guy working and he did a lot of work. He even thanked me for leaving a tip. Outstanding.”

“On Valentine’s Day after a very rough week of parenting we realized we had no dinner plans. Taking two kids out didn’t seem great given we knew most places would be packed. We ordered online on a whim. As our order arrived my phone rang. It was Center St. their food runner missed getting one of our items in the bag and they wanted to make it right. In the end we came up with a plan where we placed a second order for dessert(where they there in my husbands entree) and their manager gave us a gift card covering the cost of the dessert, service fees, and tip for the driver. Their commitment to making it right has encouraged us to add them to our next date night out. They could have just told us to ask for a refund online but instead gave us the choice of that or them making it right. The food was well worth the wait and the dessert we got was phenomenal as well! We truly felt cared for even on a night as crazy as Valentine’s Day.”

Prices are a throwback too. Everything I get there is well prepared and served quickly and hot, sodas are refilled fast even though I think I've only ever seen 2 people working there. It's a proper bar. Don't pass up your chance, places like this are getting fewer and fewer...”

“On 1/17/25 I ordered a carryout fry. When I was at the counter the guy in front of me appeared to be extremely rude to the Chick-fil-A employee. He looked as if he was trying to intimidate her. When I placed my order, she still seemed a little shaken up but remained professional. The same guy was fussing that they didn't listen. And when I was getting ready to leave another customer was being rude to an employee asking if he was a manager. Both employees in my opinion maintain professionalism and a smile.”

It was hard to decide what to order because there were so many tempting choices, but we ended up with burgers, which were good. The fries were the best ever!! Marissa did a great job helping us, and the other staff was on spot with clearing dishes and checking in on how we were doing (but we weren't bugged). Oh, and the seasonal apple martini was fantastic!”

“Extremely disappointed! Just stopped at Tiffany’s at 8:15Am on Sunday, walked in the door and restaurant was 1/2 full with no wait! As soon as we walked in manager and 2 staff immediately left to the kitchen with no acknowledgment. 5 min later hostess came to us and said there was a wait in the kitchen of 5-10 min and would not seat us! There were several open tables so why not at least seat us?”

“Baristas are always helpful and kind! A friend and I went through the drive thru yesterday and when we got to the counter to pay, the barista told me it was on him. He had heard me saying I was having a terrible day and wanted to make my day with free coffee. It was so sweet & unexpected!”

“The workers at this location don’t tend to load up your subs with toppings or meat. Always empty whenever I go in so it’s not like they have a line. Just very skimpy and annoyed if you ask for more. Location on Stadium Drive is way better.”

“Stopped by yesterday for smoothies and always enjoy the Bahama Mama. My absolute favorite! I've tried several others, and they are all good but I will stick with Bamaha Mama. Nothing beats it! I've had some of their food options in the past and they were good as well. I don't drink coffee so smoothies are my go-to drink when I want to splurge. The place is always clean and the vibe is super cute! The cashier was extremely nice. The team does a good job of ensuring the cups are full with the smoothie, not just 90%. If I had to share any negatives, it would be that the person who handed me my smoothie was less inviting, maybe just tired and I had to order in-store vs through the App because the coupon would not work, otherwise love this Tropical Smoothie location!”
