Two super nice people, a wonderful young man and wonderful young woman apologized over and over even though it wasn’t their fault and made it right. I’ll tell everyone I know if they’re in this area looking for a great shop, tasty selections, & professional friendly shop owners and location this is the place!“

“Been an ocean place since 1947 and thier was a line 25 people deep. The creamy custard ice cream I've ever had. A must to visit if you are ever in this area. A must prices are really good banana slit 5.10 really good prices. Just give the girls some time to get it to you not long though. I had a hot fudge sundae with bananas but instead of cherry custard they put cherry topping I stead on fudge. Still was most excellent I tool what tiny bit I had left pome and still at it . A nice way to top off a detroit pizza. A++++++“

“This place was so nice! I was greeted by Fatima with a big smile. She was so nice and pleasant. Loved this because right away, she makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. I'm a waffle cone person. They had multiple flavored waffle cones which was really nice and unique! They had a nice selection of ice cream flavors. I ordered the pistachio waffle cone with pistachio ice cream. OMG!!! This was delicious and I will be going back. My whole experience was pleasant there.“
“I drive all the way to food town for their natural milk for my 1 year old and I. It was important to me to get my son a more natural milk and morning plastic. So I searched around and found Calder's. We love it 💕 please don't stop suppling food town! We also just got the chocolate milk to try and it's also delicious! One of the best ones I've had. Thank you!! Farm's like this are important! Support our local farms people. We haven't been to the farm yet! But we plan on it! 100% recommend them ☺️🙌🏻“

“Grew up on burk's..my fav.Still just as good. I go whenever I'm visiting my mom..ITS A MUST..n of course love the staff.all very nice..and leave a tip...even if it's small...it's not easy..especially in the summer heat..Also..n this is everywhere you go..BE PATIENT..RELAX AND SMILE.U ARE ABOUT TO HAVE ICE CREAM“

“We love Scoopy’s. We’ve been going there for years. Love the hand scooped ice cream & the sundae’s. Last evening though, we had a bad experience with the shakes and malt that were ordered. The chocolate tasted like chocolate milk and my son said his vanilla was like vanilla milk. They were not very thick at all. We had 2 separate orders that my husband was trying to make into one and just pay’ so maybe the girl making them was a little annoyed, (as I saw based on her facial expression….) We will still go back but definitely make sure to correct the shakes if those get ordered again“

“This walk up window is located near Parker's Alley but the ordering side is on John R. It is clean and easy to get to. There is a limited menu basically just chocolate or vanilla soft serve. Around the corner there are tables and chairs located in Parker's Alley for relaxing with your treat.“

“The place is a hidden gem. I loved the churros and their ice cream selection. However, their fried ice cream is fried in churro dough, making it a bit of a thicker layer to get through for the ice cream. Other than that it is the perfect place for a cool treat.“

“closest ice cream shop to us on our way home and it does not disappoint. cute spot, very spacious with some seating, variety of ice cream flavours, and a coffee spot! the key lime ice cream was divine - perfect balance of tart and creamy. The mango was delicious too.
They sell cakes and if you forgot to grab candles or cake toppers or cards they have that there which is really convenient!!! cannot wait to try other flavours.

“I once saw a guy (teenager) on the cash register miscount a customer's change by $0.25 so the customer started yelling at him. The customer got one sentence out before a manager told the kid at the cash register to go to the back then she laid into the customer about bullying kids and his total lack of respect and humanity.
Ive gone back ~8 times after seeing that.
10/10, the staff has never been anything but patient, professional and friendly with me. And the water ice is great too. I like Tiger's blood.“

“Dairy Queen is always a great spot for a sweet treat, and their Cheesecake Blizzard is amazing! The creamy blend of their signature soft serve with chunks of rich cheesecake and graham cracker swirls is just heavenly. It's the perfect mix of textures and flavors, making it a must try for any dessert lover.
On top of the delicious treat, the customer service was top-notch. Ali Almawla, one of the employees, was super friendly and made sure my order was perfect. He was attentive, quick, and really made the experience enjoyable. It's always nice to see such great service paired with tasty treats!“

“This is D Spot to B Spot for fresh food and delicious desserts! The staff was very friendly and the vibes were definitely there. I enjoyed a night out with some friends and I had an amazing time! For a place with such a massive menu, I was the farthest from overwhelmed. Look forward to my next visit!“

“Love this place. Been coming here for 40 years. Always clean, always on point. This place has never underperformed on any level. The staff is super rad and friendly. Easy to find in River Rouge. Right on Jefferson across from McDonalds and Memorial Park. Banana Split Blizzard for the win!“
