“The best Chinese in the state of Michigan . We used to live a couple of blocks down auburn rd and we would take out once a week. Now the last 5 years whenever the wife , kids and I want Chinese we have to drive 1/2 hour to get Pings . Really there is no eating at another Chinese place once you have one bite of their generous and delectable proportions . House made duck sauce and egg rolls are the best ever !“

“This panda express specifically gives off a weird vibe. I go in and it kind of always seems like something is slightly off. The food is usually cool tho. Sometimes you will have to ask for fresh but they will make it & not give you a hard time about it which is nice.“

“Every time I have come to this establishment I’m always greeted kindly at the door, the atmosphere is definitely nice and relaxing and there are a lot of people usually in there.

Lastly the food is amazing! My go to is the Pepper Steak and onions/peppers, popcorn chicken and white rice. Today 1/31 it was extremely exceptional.

“Easy ordering online, huge menu, generous on sauce packets and fortune cookies. The lady at the counter was gracious enough to throw in some drinks on the house. On top of just being nice, the lo mein was so good and flavorful! The chicken is thinly sliced so it soaked in the sauce and not dry. Great portion size for what you pay. It seems like the average take-out spot, but the good service and generosity makes it a stand out. Love giving good people business.“

“Best Chinese food I have ever had. We ordered the general tsos, beef chow fun, and sautéed yu Choi. This was the best general tsos I’ve ever eaten. You can choose a spice level for it, too. The beef was deliciously flavored and perfectly cooked. The Yu Choi was fresh and so delicious. The portions are huge and the woman who took the order was so patient and friendly with us. We had the General Tao chicken and the Ginger Scallion beef. Large shrimp in the fried rice. We will surely be back.“

“We have ordered from here quite a few times! Everything that we have tried so far is delicious! They are one of the few places you can sub lo mein for rice in a combo dinner. The General Tso is always great! My kids love the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. We recently tried the Hong Shui Gai and Moo Shui - both were great. I was a little bummed they served it with tortillas instead of the spring pancakes but it was still delicious! Hot mustard sauce is also a big hit in our house and has a the perfect level of spice!“

“I have never had anything but a delicious traditional chinese dinner there. Old fashioned bean sprout egg rolls, great wonton soup, and nice portions. We go weekly since we moved to Troy. Michael is always good to talk sports with. I have had Almond Chicken, Chicken Gung Bo, all the Chop Sueys, and crab rangoon also. All consistant and great . Still reasonably priced. 5/5 stars“

Ordered General Tso chicken and for $11 I got like 2 lbs. in a big white Styrofoam box (packed) They do NOT skimp on the portions and the Pork fried rice was amazing and the Egg drop soup was also good. I have their menu on my refrigerator and plan on ordering almost everything on the menu before the year is out.“

“There aren’t many Chinese restaurants I like anymore, but decided to order a carry out tonight from China Town. It was some of the best Chinese I’ve had in ages. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The packaging was nice, leaking styrofoam. Everything had a secure lid. I got the house fried rice and it was so good! Had fresh pork, chicken, shrimp, and veggies in it for a small up charge. Nice sized shrimp too! Really so very pleasantly surprised! Will definitely be back.“

The egg rolls are unbeatable: perfectly crispy on the outside with a generous, well-seasoned filling. The orange chicken is exactly what it should be — crispy, tender, and coated in a sauce that’s balanced, not overly sweet or artificial. Every dish tastes like they actually care about quality and consistency, which is rare.

“Where to begin….orient express has been a mainstay in my life for as long as I can imagine. First the service, greeted with a warm smile and efficiency is all I can ever ask for. Next, atmosphere is humble and authentic. Last but not least, the food! I repeat the food is absolutely out of this world!! The egg rolls are always crisp with warm and plump interior. The chicken from general tao to sweet and sour is always perfectly sauced with the perfect amount of accompanying broccoli also perfectly sauced. The Kungpao chicken has the perfect amount of spice and vegetable to chicken ratio. That is just the tip of the iceberg. Cannot rave enough about this place!! Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

“One of the best Roast Duck, Roast Pig spot here in Madison Heights. I drive from Lansing just to come pick up roast duck or both when I really wants some or when I'm in the area I always stop by.
They also sell other meat there including cuttlefish, pig ears etc. its a small spot only for pick up and go. Price went up like everything else but cheaper then the one in Grand Rapid. I highly recommend. They only take cash.“
