“Came to town to celebrate my cousin's upcoming wedding and I stopped here with her for some cocktails. The atmosphere was perfect, we used the outdoor seating area and enjoyed hanging out for a few hours. Drinks were super good, all the staff was friendly, and our server, Nick, was super fun and we enjoyed chatting with him! Thank you, Saint 1881 and staff. We had an amazing time :)“

“We live nearby but had never visited MacKenzie Tavern until recently. Glad we did! The food is quite good, especially when Yamin is in the kitchen. Pasta dishes are always on point. Good gyro, too. Domestic beer prices are among the best I can find. I've seen some reviews that describe the place as "a bit of a dive." And your point is? It's nothing fancy but neither am I. Try it. You'll like it.“

“If you’re looking for a great meal, Shift is the place to go. The food is delicious, and the vibe is great. The service was amazing, no complaints. Love going here for dinner or a night cap. It gets super busy, so definitely make a reservation to avoid a long wait/lines. Worth it for your next week day or weekend rezzy!!“

“Great service and the food was delicious had a slim jim and a grilled hamberger with French fries. Our car broke down in there parking lot and the employees were so very helpful trying to help get it started before the tow truck came. We will definitely go back.“

“We held our private event in the enclosed patio at Firebird in Troy. The patio was heated and decorated to look like a lodge. All of our guests felt like they were in a homey environment. The food and the service was impeccable. Our guests were so pleased at the attention to detail and the promptness of the serving staff. The event manager, Jenna, made the entire planning process easy and stress free. She helped us set up our buffet menu and was there day of assisting in decorating and making sure everything was in order. I would highly recommend hosting a private event here and plan to do so myself for future events!“

“Where do I even start! This is hands down, the premier cigar bar! I’ve gone to a few others and they don’t compare to DCs. Chris and Donny (owner) has done an incredible job. First off, the ventilation. On a packed night, the place isn’t even overly cloudy or smokey, great ventilation. Their humidor also offers a great selection of cigars at affordable prices. Next the food. Everything in the menu is top notch and other very affordable. The steak bites, deviled eggs, burgers, fries, everything, 5 out of 5. Now, the atmosphere, unlike any other cigar bar. It’s classy, looks good, clean, and always has a great mix in music and tv selection. They also have a hell of a drink selection, very impressive. Lastly, the staff. I’ve become a regular over the last six months and have had the pleasure to work with some of the best in the business. Sarah and Rheanna are amazing, they don’t get any better than these two! They’re friendly, treat you like they’ve known you for years, professional and know their business. Most would say they do this for the tips, they don’t. They do it because that’s just who they are, just friendly and sweet. Joe is also one hell of a guy! Everybody on the staff makes time for you. The moment you walk in, they greet you by name. They have an incredible staff, that’s what keeps you coming back. Thank you all for making this place a great spot to sit down and enjoy a night out, whether a date night, a guys night out or even just a solo night to grab a drink and a cigar! “This place is amazing. Their food is delicious. Got the classic charcuterie and the Mediterranean flatbread. No complaints. My fiance has dietary restrictions and they happy make adjustments for him.

The beer is full of flavor and I can't wait to try more! We've tried everything but the IPA. The Hefeweizen is our favorite.

The wine! I normally can't have wine because of the sulfates make me sick. But their wines are low on sulfates. El Jefe and crowd pleaser are my favorites.“

“Service was excellent. Margarita was delicious if not slightly small. We had the taquitos dinner which was presented well in a fried basket shell with lettuce, pico and guacamole and to dip sour cream and queso. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry. We also had the fish Baja tacos and they were also not dry and flavorful with pineapple on the pico was an unexpected added touch that was delicious. The Baja fish dinner came with perfectly cooked seasoned fries. We rode a quite a way to try a new Mexican restaurant and we're not disappointed. We will definitely be going again.“

I feel bad I don’t remember the server’s name who was outside on the patio, but genuinely some of the best service I’ve ever had, and I worked in the industry for 10+ years. “My daughter and I enjoyed a Mothers Day lunch here together. The food was fresh and tasty. We shared a strawberry salad and hamburger. Kitchen kindly split the entrees for us in back. Nice wine offerings and mimosas. Popovers came out fresh from the oven served with their strawberry butter- yummy!“

“Went there yesterday with my husband for our anniversary dinner. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. We had a drink at the bar before getting a table for dinner. All staff were super friendly and courteous. I had the Perch Piccata which was amazing. It was a very large portion so I had plenty to take home for another meal. My husband enjoyed his Bolognese which was also a very large portion. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back soon.“

The only issue was with there being so few diners, the service was still very slow. But again, the food was amazing, so we would go back again.“
