“Fabulous place to dine in. Right on the river, great view of Canada with a chance to see big boats floating by through the large windows. Dining experience was more of a romantic setting with low lighting chandeliers and unique oil lamps at each table, had a slightly longer than average wait for food but it was well with the wait. Staff was very friendly and prompt to attend customers. Bonuses live piano music being played and a bar with many selections including a variety of wines. Highly recommend this place if you want good food and relaxed atmosphere perhaps a family gathering or just a romantic outing with your person. Will absolutely be visiting again. Also there is a bowling alley and a sports bar for added fun.Parking: Parking isn't a problem plenty of space.Kid-friendliness: High chairs on site for the littles“
“There's a reason this place is nearly 5 stars. Starting off with the very generous portions and fair prices you surely won't leave hungry walking into this joint. Secondly I tried their soup of the day beef barley and it was great, I wish I got a picture of my main course ?. The complimentary popcorn was mouthwatering.“

“Occasional food specials on certain days which we have not tried yet, but what a beautiful historic gem in Marine City to enjoy a beer or cocktail surrounded by a lot of history! The new owners have done a remarkable job restoring the place and they have more they plan to do.Nice courtyard area - live regular music, and very friendly staff! Newport is just around the corner off the main drag Water Street near the beach.“

“Very busy.Had a great time .I had a complicated drink order and the waitress was super patient and got my order correct.Really enjoyed my time. Food was great and everyone else's food looked good, no complaints.If you show up with a group bigger than 8, your food may come at different times, they try their best to get them all at once, but it is a small spot and very busy. No complaints.“
“I order take out the Fish and chip . It was busy but my food was ready when I got there I only live about 6 min away. It was delicious they need to updated the prices but it also came with a side salad and 3 nice size pieces of fish . Fry's was good too.“

“One of my top ten favorite restaurants. Phenomenal food, staff, and atmosphere. Whoever is back there cooking really knows what they are doing. One of the best ribeyes you'll ever have. I've probably had 5-7 different dinners and have yet to be dissapointed. It's an intimate quiet place. Only about a dozen smaller tables. Good soft music and soft lighting make for a nice atmosphere. The staff is very attentive without being overbearing. Prices are fair for the quality of food you're getting. I can't say enough about how much my family and my friends I've taken here love this place.***Update*** I wrote that original review years ago. I still have to say this place is better than five stars. I swear you can't go wrong with anything you order. Sesame chicken and any fish they offer is phenomenal. Best carrots, coleslaw and fries. Just close your eyes, point at something random on the menu and you won't be disappointed. I'd also recommend setting a reservation. “I stopped in for breakfast after seeing the doctor this morning, and it wasn't too busy. I got seated right away. I ordered the combo omelet and it was delicious. Hashbrowns and rye toast came with the omelet. I had onions added to the hashbrowns and it was ok. I was a little disappointed with the size of the coffee cups, which required multiple refills . But the service and attention from my waitress made up for it.“
“Truest the best spot in town for great food and friendly folks! I loved the Coney Island, dog, the ham and cheese sandwich… And of course the western omelette with a side of corned beef hash! The wait staff is friendly and doting, and the food never disappoints! We have been in town for a week and eating here three times… Definitely a gem in Saint Clair!“
