“First visit in years..not so great in the past. Well, now I can attest the quality of every thing that makes an outstanding food experience exists at Mac's! My server Aly was top notch as well..I ordered a classic burger and fries,bread pudding,( which I never liked until I had theirs) and a Moscow mule. When she returned with my items, I felt like I was in a Michelin restaurant. Burger ( rich meaty flavorful, delicious) med/ rare was perfection..fries, ( ditto..service.. impeccable.I walked out feeling like a queen. ( I am a private chef of 50 years and particular about food.) Well done Mac's! 5 +stars!”

The tortas are amazing, and have their own homemade bread. I've never been able to finish one in one sitting. They also have an assortment of more authentic mexican dishes--I recommend the soups.”

“I love this place! Very nice atmosphere, great food and drinks! The kids and I make it a tradition to play our favorite card game, while we eat musubi, oreo mochi waffles, and popcorn chicken, and drink our favorite Boba drinks. The owner is always so gracious and welcoming! I love how involved he is with the community and how he displays the art from the local schools on the wall. Would be a great place to host an art show, or a small open mic night!”

“We ordered sheet cakes for our wedding from Gwen’s. The chocolate cake with caramel filling and the vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and cream were both absolutely delicious. The price was also very reasonably. We picked up our cakes as our venue was nearby. Would definitely recommend!”

“It’s the definition of “hidden gem.” I have been before, but tonight we went to a concert there and it was the best thing I have done in a long time. They don’t have food, so I ordered carry out from somewhere else and picked it up on the way, but we ate there and Stony Lake’s beer is top shelf. The band went on at 8 and, again, it was spectacular. FWIW, we saw Hey Mavis.If you enjoy quality beer and quality music, there is no where better in southeast Michigan than Stony Lake Brewery. We’re lucky to have this in Saline.”

I felt really bad for placing an order late especially these days when I'm sure every restaurant is beyond short staffed. Fried pickles were awesome and the serving size was very generous. Big winner of our dinner was the sweet potato soufflé. Amazing… we’ll get this every time! Great place! We’ll be back soon!”

“We recently visited the Dairy Queen in Saline with a large group of over 100 people, including around 80 children and 20 adults. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and patient throughout our entire visit. Managing such a big group could have been challenging, but they handled everything smoothly and professionally. Their friendly attitude and attentiveness truly made our experience enjoyable. We greatly appreciate their excellent service and would highly recommend this location for both small and large gatherings.”

“Joyful House is hands down the best Chinese food not only in Saline but in the greater Ann Arbor area. My family gets the same takeout order at least one night a month. Our relatives from out of town always want Joyful House when they come to visit! The food is always pretty expensive per dish but worth it. Every other local Chinese restaurants' dishes are bland and service is poor compared to Joyful House. Once you taste it you'll never want Chinese from anywhere else!”

“Recently had a bit of a drought when it came to good chinese restaurants that were close by and we decided to give Gui Lin a try since we were in the area. Really impressed! The service was great, food arrived quickly and was hot. I thought it tasted really good and better quality than what I'd had in recent years. I ordered the pad Thai, which while it didn't taste exactly like traditional pad Thai, it was still super tasty. My husband got the almond chicken and he said it was delicious with a good breading to chicken ratio. I also got the hot and sour soup and thought it was great. Not too oily and had the right level of spice.The staff even came by to ask about our dining experience. The only reason this didn't get a full 5 stars is because the interior could use a little updating but I thought it still has a relaxing and cozy atmosphere.”

“Came in on Friday around 4pm, you guys were busy and I could hear a man screaming and swearing with a lobby full of customer's, very unprofessional and didn't sit well wit me, the short stocky guy told him to watch his language about swearing. Hopefully the tall skinny guy having a bad day won't show this side of himself again, as a manager you should hold you're self to higher standards and not be pissed cause you have orders if that's the case why are you working in the food services?”
