“My cousin wed their beautiful bride last night and their original post wedding brunch location fell through at the last minute. Groups of us came through right as Supergeil opened. “Hazel’s is one of those no-brainer places you hit with friends or family when you’re looking for something casual. Some dishes are better than others but overall the seafood is fresh and tasty. The servers have all been very tentative and nice over the years which makes for a positive experience. This is definitely a place I will continue to patron and recommend.“

Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.“

“Very popular restaurant and bar. We came on the weekend this time for brunch. Large menu with omelets, benedicts, french toasts. Regular menu has wings,sandwiches and ? .We got the wings and they(3)were large full and sticky. Our omelettes were good with plenty inside. The French toast too. My friend thought their benedict not their best and probably wouldn't get it again. Ask about gluten free or vegan. Betty get GF bread or bun please.

It was busy and the crowd was watching the game so it was fun. Tony U was our server and was on it. ?
Cocktails were pricey to me considering the size

“A Californian and a Texan walk into a Midwest Taco joint… and are pleasantly surprised! Fun concept Tex-Mex menu with unique choices of sauces, meats, toppings, and shells to choose from. They have flights of special dips and signature margaritas, allowing for a fun and creative tasting experience starting with apps and drinks. For the mains, you can either build your own or taco/bowl/burrito or choose from one of their signature pairings from a large menu. They have several meat and non meat options to choose from, and our server Colby did an awesome job helping us navigate the menu to create a great Taco Tuesday experience. He took great care of us and made the fun but large menu even more approachable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend trying it out, just keep in mind that if you are from CA/TX and like things SPICY, that the spice level on all items is geared towards a midwestern pallet aka on the milder side.“

Rachel took great care of us considering the place was busy and she was the only bartender. “It's an okay spot at best, but only because the staff is great.. except the security dudes. All of the security fellas look and speak as if they are mad about something. Maybe it's their job to look hard??? IDK If you're okay with cigar and weed smoke, you'll probably enjoy Soul on Ice. During warm weather days the patio is only for smokers because you cannot escape the smoke no matter what. Do not expect to lounge outside if you're not a smoker of "something". The stinch of smoke gets indoors too because people are smoking at both doors, or they are standing with one foot in and the other out. There's a few ghetto people that go there, but, that's pretty much expected in Detroit, so there's no running from that type. At least Soil on Ice don't water down their drinks, or replace top shelf with cheap stuff like TV is very well known to do. 4.5 stars out of 5 for the DJs, food, and drinks, but the mean-faced security staff and cigars and weed all over the place brings the rating down to 1.0001. Yes, 1.0001 stars! We're rooting for Soul on Ice to continue on for many years, but my wife and I will likely not return unless we have absolutely nothing else to do, or they rearrange the whole smoking setup. Non-smokers want to party indoors and out too! I'm done with this review. I'm off to put my clothes through five cycles of hot water washing using Tide Super Duty Scent Destroyer Extra.“

“This place is amazing! We were waiting for a comedy show to start, we weren't sure about it at first, but felt right at home when we walked in! Sarah was our waitress, who is also a 15 year experienced bartender on the side, was AMAZING to say the least! She was so friendly, helped make us crazy custom shots and was happy to do it!!

“This is a Moose Club that has genuinely nice people! The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a super friendly, smiling hello from everyone! They had a taco special tonight where you could get hard or soft shell tacos, or, to entice you more, they also did a loaded taco tots. It was a nice size order of tots, and they didn't skimp on the meat or the toppings. The nice price was only $6!!! I had a mixed drink and the taco tots and was very full! My total bill was $8.75. I haven't had a dinner and a drink for that price in a VERY LONG TIME! I recommend you join the Moose Club in whatever town you live in that has a local Moose. Not only for the great food that is priced right, but also for the many friends you will make when you visit any Moose Club that you find on vacation, or just passing through.“

“The Hideout shocked me, i drove by for many years and figured it was a hole/little bar. When I walked in the interior was very nice. So the business end of the review, i had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and it was so darn good I was shocked. I came back the following night it was so good hoping they could replicate it, im not here for the drinks but the cheeseburger! Once again the chef comes through with a home run. Ill be back tomorrow or the next day, its that good and its of tremendous value, im not sure how they do it. The place is a gem!“
