“It seems that every time I go to KFC I have to change my order. They never have enough of the style of chicken that I want. My wife and I prefer all white original style chicken. I try to order a bucket and I always seem to be told that they don't have enough cooked to fill my order.“

“Been wanting to try this place for a while now so we finally stopped last night on our way home 15 minutes before closing and they were still so nice and accommodating.. After finally deciding on 3 dinners, it was ready pretty quick and the food was sooo good! Definitely recommend and will be goin back!“

“Ordered through Doordash at 10PM on Christmas evening! What a lifesaver. Dark meat chicken is so good. Lightly breaded (if any breading at all). The skin is very crispy and tasty. Ate it with pickled jalapeno and fried pickles. Reasonable price.“

“Almost a 5. Staff was friendly, but they overcooked the chicken a little bit. We kept checking to see if was ready, but they kept cooking it and sure enough it was little over cooked, a little dry. It wasn't horrible. So I'm giving it a try again and will see if it doesn't come out so dry the next time around. It's better than the one by 275 at Shell gas station and much cleaner. I'll never go back to the one by Shell gas on Eureka and 275.Edited: I went again and this time the shrimp was overcooked. The tenders were excellent, tender and juicy. But I like shrimp and was sorely disappointed with the shrimp it was dark and they didn't have any honey butter sauce. The best one I've been to was in Hillsdale Michigan, which was my first taste of the place. So all other locations now compare to that one, and unfortunately this one at Star liquor had subpar shrimp. I reduce my rating to a 3.5.“

“The Gentleman working told us we would be back once we mentioned it was our first time trying this place. He was ABSOLUTELY correct! The chicken was fantastic! Potatoes were amazing! Rolls were ok but not bad, will definitely try a different side. I would completely recommend this location over any other big chain like KFC, or Popeyes. The chicken was hot and oh so crispy and juicy! Found our new go to chicken place!

Parking: lots of spots, convenient location“

“Now I have been going to these KKC places but this one has them beat, I just found my chicken spot , the main reason I was going was they have fried corn on cob and being from the south I was missing it. But I found it, if only they would make a restaurant, but theses little snack spots are still good. It's in a citco station on Jefferson, find it trust you will like it“

If you're expecting traditional Guatemalan food, there are a few staples like tamales on the menu, but the real star here is the fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh and was absolute crispy and delicious perfection. The side dishes range from french fries, to salads, to black beans, all of which are enjoyable. While I waited for my meal, the restaurant also provided a cup of flavorful chicken noodle soup, that puts the typical bland versions of the dish to complete shame.Worth noting that the restaurant has it's own parking lot and the dining room, while small, had several four-top tables for seating.“

“Got them on 7.23.23 No meat on the chicken. Very dry chicken. The biscuits were so burnt it was black. Unable to eat it. This was my first time back since it reopened. We will not go back.“

“First I would like to say the food was freshly prepared in front of us & we had a bit of a wait, but for fresh food I will not complain about waiting!This was my first time here, the food looks nothing like the pictures, however it was very tasty, I was pleasantly surprised!The chicken is juicy, possibly the juiciest chicken I’ve had considering all of the chicken places on every corner & the asked if I wanted lemon pepper in my chicken too(yesss!!) the original sauce really brings out the Cajun flavors in the chicken and they compliment each other perfectly.The honey biscuits were sitting under the lamp for a while and not dripping in butter like I expected, I would probably ask for extra drizzle next time, but still had a nice crust and fluffy inside.The place is a bit run down, not organized & seemingly unclean, but it’s a gas station too, and that didn’t bother me much since I’ve lived in the area forever. The guy running the place is super nice and answered all of my questions about types of fish and everything was delicious ? 9/10 would go again! “Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) is an upstart Liquor Store/Gas Station chicken restaurant. I had 2 pieces of fish and two thighs with 3 Jalapeño peppers. Delicious. This store sprinkles a lemon-pepper seasoning on the chicken as a topping. Filled my hunger and satisfied my capsaicin addiction. Chicken was hot, flavorful, and juicy. I've been to other KKC stores that haven't been as good with quality (possibly because of the time of day), but these guys had it right. Juicy flavorful meat, crunchy skin, and not bad for the price. 2 pieces of fish, 2 thighs, and 3 Jalapeño peppers for $13.60. Will go again.“
