“My wife and I are from out of town and a friend recommended Beruit Gardens for dinner. I have to say that was the best recommendation ever! The Chicken Shawarma Sandwich was to die for and the garlic butter was the bomb!! My wife got the Shish Tawook and Fattoush salad. It was so delicious and the portion was perfect for sharing we had to take home leftovers. Not that leftovers are a problem. “Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

“Mashalla this is the best restaurant I have ever went to in my entire goddman life! Like, sheesh bro, calm down with the quality and tenderness of your chicken, my mouth exploded of joy when I devouered this divine dish! Allah must have bestowed this chef with his extraordinary cooking skills. Just absolutlely fabulous!
And my god, the atmosphere was just something else! The prison vibes were so accurate I felt like I was never gonna get out of this place, although I actually forgot that I have indeed murdererd someone and deserve to be in here! Absolutely crazy.
Also the variety of the food was great! Chicken and shrimp are only some of the few extravagant choices on the menu, but they are by far my absolute favorites (although I thought they tasted quite similar).
And the service was also ambsolutely amazing! The waiter (also the cook) was kind enough to provide me with a menu as soon as I entered and cleared a table for us by scooping up the remains of previous guests' food with a plastic tablecloth and making it magically dissapear like a wizard! And such grace in his movements! Truly the mark of a professional at work!
All in all the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my life!

The grill added a plethora of flavor to each element of the sandwich that can only be described as breathtaking. “I ordered from Monaco last night on my way home. Not only was the food fantastic. The customer service went above and beyond. When I got home I was so sad because I realized everything but the shawarma I ordered was in the bag and it was now 10 to 10...they close at 10. I called, hoping maybe I could get a small refund or rain cheque or something. But before I could even ask they said... yeah I thought I put them in the bag, so... where do you live? I told them and he then said ok Im going to drive these over to you. 15 minutes later I have my shawarma and a wonderful suprise of a 4 piece baklava! completely not necassary but very welcomed. “We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. The food was really good - I got the salad with chicken shawarma - the portion was insane! I didn’t take a picture but there was so much chicken (and I got the “small” size) It was really tasty and juicy and with the side of garlic sauce it really hit my cravings. The bartender (I sat at the bar) was super nice, friendly and awesome yet respectful and in general everyone out here seemed really welcoming. Prices were very fair and affordable (got 2 drinks as well)

I dont know if something got lost in translation or if its genuinely like this everytime, but the tabouleh and fries I got would be large or extra large at most other places. The tabouleh was the best ive had from outside the home. The fries are fantastic, and the chicken shawarma came LOADED.“

It is widely eaten in northern parts of the country. It is mainly served for lunch. The base is a brown meat stew called maraq, a dollop of fenugreek froth, and sahawiq or sahowqa (a mixture of chillies, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs ground into a salsa). A couple fresh hot outta the oven, Malawah Bread is one of the many kinds of bread eaten in Yemen.
