I also loved seeing a well-thought-out mocktail menu. It’s such a nice touch and something that feels very current and inclusive—whether you’re not drinking that night or just want something fun and intentional beyond water or soda.

“Something weird is going on here. Little Italy opened 2 days ago and they have 64 reviews that all pertain to BBQ Daddy. Anyhow, I got a meat lovers. It seemed a tad overbaked. Either the pepperoni or sauce were a bit too zesty for my taste. Not bad, just not for me.“

Overall, you get a lot of bang for your buck here…$25 got us a large pizza, a salad, and a good sized bread with garlic sauce. I liked the pizza! Crust was solid, pepperoni was good, nothing too crazy but on the nail for what we needed. The bread and garlic sauce were my fav,no question about that. Wouldn’t say it’s my go-to Friday night spot, but I’d come back once a month or so. Solid find. Staff was friendly & quick!“

“Charming. An old school Italian restaurant in a charming part of Grosse Pointe Park. A family friendly restaurant without being adult unfriendly ?. I went with a classic lasagna and it tasted like I was a “made man” in the Corleone family or something. Heaven! Atmosphere was classy without being stuffy. Midweek dinner and not much of a crowd so we were seated right away. I think my favorite part was tomato sauce that was used in the lasagna.“

“The staff is very good. Friendly fast and accurate. The owners are Theo Deanna and Paul. They are there to help you get the most amazing dinning experience. If ever you need something to supplement your meal just let the waitress know and you will be amazed by the service.“

It was dimly lit,brelatively quiet. Server was attentive and gave us our space and asked us to let him know when we wanted him to come around, but he did still check in.
The soup was the best part. The chicken in the chicken Parm was super thin and over cooked and the pasta was nothing to write home about, I would bet Big Boy serves better spaghetti. The calamari was a little over cooked and in ring form, which was a little disappointing. The bread sticks seemed like they were from a package.“

“First, let me say that if you have not been to Gnocchi Italian, you absolutely MUST GO! This place is amazing. A 10 out of 10! I've been to Italy several times, and Gnocchi Italian serves the absolute best gnocchi that I have ever tasted — even better than 80% of the restaurants in Rome. Everything is made from scratch; the gnocchi is made from ricotta, giving it an incredibly creamy and rich flavor. There are 45 varieties of gnocchi! I had the seafood gnocchi (scallops and jumbo shrimp in lobster sauce served over gnocchi). My companion ordered a breast of chicken over gnocchi smothered in alfredo sauce and topped with Muenster cheese. The proprietor, Chef Jeff, has run this place 8 years, and he is incredibly talented. Of course, they do serve other traditional Italian dishes besides gnocchi. They're all wonderful, from the spaghetti to the lasagna to the meatballs to the veal — everything is done to perfection. The portions are generous. Also, they have excellent red wines which are moderately priced. We ordered a bottle of Merlot. Finally, you will be amazed at their special house creamy garlic salad dressing, and.... the most delicious cream of wild mushroom soup I have ever tasted! We basically had 2 1/2+ hours of enjoyable dinner.“

The staff at Buscemis quickly made a beautiful 6 foot sub and a party size pizza that they even offered to cut into smaller pieces to feed my party.
