“Every time I go here for lunch during work, I'm always greeted at the door by staff. They take my order in a timely fashion. They make the food right in front of you so you can see it being cooked. “I was driving by and saw pastrami on their window. I got the half pastrami and half corn beef on an onion roll. Wowow this place did not disappoint. The pastrami was good but the corned beef is phenomenal. I literally ordered another sandwich. The portion size is beyond fair. From the moment I sat down, ate, paid, and left was within 20 mins.

I came back a second time thinking it was a fluke. No fluke, I’d recommend.“

“Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

“Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.“

“For many years this was a go to store for us when heading home from the skate park. Staff always nice, food always good.
Store was a bit dirty looking at times but understandable when it was busy in there. Not a lot of parking but a lot in front and back of store so never an issue“

“Just got back from getting a drive-thru order here. My mom and I used to get Tubby’s when I was a kid, and I haven’t had it since then. This was my first experience back in a long time!

The guy who took my order was super sweet and patient with me as I was ordering and answered my questions without any attitude or hesitation. Ended up getting us a couple of drinks, a cupcake, the ravioli, breaded mushrooms, cheese sticks, and the sub I always got as a kid- the taco sub with no tomatoes, added salsa and extra cheese. The BEST.

When I pulled around I missed the window (lmao) so I had to pull back. The woman at the window was also extremely sweet and helped me get everything I needed for my order.

Everything was in the bag, hot, fresh, and made extremely well. Each item came with its own dipping sauce, which were all in the bag along with napkins and utensils.

I took a bite of my sub and it tasted just like my childhood. Thank you to these two lovely people for such a good experience back! I’ll definitely be coming here to this location when I want Tubby’s again.“

“I have gotten Firehouse catered for several meetings and a very large event. Sunny and Rita are always so great and accommodating, as well as on time when I get the catering delivered. Everytime I have ordered I get outstanding service, great communication, and our staff always loves the subs. This is also one of the only places I know with gluten free bread that is actually good. Highly recommend for lunch or a catering!“

There was no payroll deduction back then and he loaned me the money I needed to buy this car! I have the up most respect for the Tubby's company because of how they treat thier employees! I've been a regular customer at the Subway located within my local Walmart and have consistently had positive experiences. Firstly, the cleanliness of the restaurant is always impressive. The dining area and preparation areas are consistently well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment.

“Was inspired to make this review because my sandwich was spectacularly bomb this time around, but everyone who works here is always kind and polite, and they always get my order correct and distribute the food evenly and fairly. I was honestly shocked to see so many negative reviews before I realized none of you must have ever worked any kind of customer service job before.. that or you’re just plain stupid. If you’re seriously taking the time to come on here to try to ruin the reputation of a bunch of people working minimum wage to make you a sandwich you could easily make at home (since you so clearly have enough free time to leave a nasty google review)… You need to grow up. Lol. Stop leaving google reviews about CORPORATE ISSUES (food distribution, prices, stock, etc) on random restaurant locations. “I haven't been to this place in years because I went vegetarian but I randomly got the taste for the Tubby's dressing today (it is a delicious dressing) and chose to give the hot stir fried veggie sub a try. I am both delighted and upset by how much I enjoyed it. xD It reminded me of when I used to get the mushroom, steak, and cheese sub (which I would recommend to the meat eaters). The people working there were also super nice! I will be wanting to return here soon!

Vegetarian options: Under speciality subs they have the veggie sub with mushrooms. I just ordered it (minus green peppers and tomatoes because I can't eat those) and it was delicious ?“
