Generally, I have been able to find high-quality and authentic Korean restaurants, although they've been elusive in some areas or states. Finally, I discovered Chung Ki Wa in Michigan. I've brought clients and friends there for numerous meals. Every visit has been worthwhile, and the restaurant offers a private area where I've been able to host my clients for an elevated dining experience and private conversations. “We’ve been considering a visit here for quite some time - over a year. We should have checked it out much sooner, but glad we finally pulled the trigger. This place is GREAT! House made sauce. House made dough. Excellent toppings options. Besides pizza, there’s spaghetti, alfredo, garlic pasta - there’s pita sandwiches, soups of the day, and a large salad bar! They even asked us what kind of pizza we wanted added to the buffet when we first arrived. The staff is top tier. Super nice! If you’ve never been here - you need to check this place out. 11/10. “First time customers (7/12/2025). We needed to find a new BBQ place to satisfy our taste buds since SHEETZ is taking over 12 & Mound. WE FOUND IT. Ordered the Judges' sampler to try their variety. Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans and Hush Puppies are ALL EXCELLENT. The Coleslaw could have been a bit creamer, but we didn't come here for veggies or salad. Loved their sauces as well. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.“

“Dude's BBQ is sick. He hooks it up with extra sides too. However, it's first come, first serve. So you might be standing in line for 30 minutes with 15 other people, get up there to order and whatever you wanted is sold out. If there's huge line, i don't even bother anymore. It's only open like one day a week now, maybe two if you're lucky lol.“

Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

“Something weird is going on here. Little Italy opened 2 days ago and they have 64 reviews that all pertain to BBQ Daddy. Anyhow, I got a meat lovers. It seemed a tad overbaked. Either the pepperoni or sauce were a bit too zesty for my taste. Not bad, just not for me.“

I was determined to sample something else on their menu tonight and while the hubs was figuring out what he wanted, I started to read the reviews and was a bit shocked with a few of them. I too, have a lot of restaurant work in my background and so I paid extra attention tonight. I'm happy to report that my take out experience this evening has been stellar! My call in was handled well and without issue and was ready when I went to pick it up. I only live 5 min away (if that) and the food was really warm, well packaged and delicious. Portions are generous as far as I'm concerned-these Corktown Fries are enough for two and the they don't skimp on the portions of crisp either. I am really glad I've finally been able to get to this place and I'm sure they're on my 'go-to' list from now on.“

I typically visit Texas Roadhouse Roseville once every 2-3 weeks, and I exclusively sit at the bar, whether I'm by myself, with my wife, or with friends. While all the bar staff I've encountered have been excellent, these two are incredible to watch together. The bar atmosphere feels just like your favorite local watering hole, where they don't just remember your name, but know exactly what you like to drink. I witness this same attention to detail with other customers too, as they too are greeted by name. Considering I'm only there every 2-3 weeks, their ability to remember customers' names and drinks sets this restaurant well above any other chain I've visited. This personal touch is typically only found in beloved neighborhood bars. In the 10 months I've been coming here, I've never had a disappointing meal. I've explored various menu options beyond their excellent steaks, and everything arrives with perfect timing, allowing enough time to enjoy appetizers or salad/chili before the main course. If you need anything extra (condiments, cheese, etc.), the attentive bartending staff responds quickly, even heading to the kitchen themselves if necessary. This recognition of the outstanding bar staff is long overdue. After experiencing their wonderful service again this past weekend, I felt compelled to take some time to write.
