“This was our first visit to the Staymaker, which is the restaurant within the Journeyman Distillery. We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and we were not disappointed! “This is our first time visiting Three Oaks, and first time at Froehlichs. It’s a wonderful eclectic interior, and you can also buy all sorts of coffees, jams, candles etc in the back area. The foods was really good! We had the pepper burger and a corn elote salad with salmon. For dessert we had a mixed fruit mini pie (so fresh!) and the chocolate cake. Both delicious! Our server Jane was very nice and attentive as well. We will be back for breakfast!“

We knew right away we wanted to enjoy their patio where you could hear trickling water from the water features. We ordered the two vegan options and devoured everything! The table had a cross section of foods: the trout, salmon and steak pot pie. All were excellent. "The best salmon I ever had" was one of the comments. The only slight misstep was that the order was for chicken pot pie and we received steak pot pie. Our waitress noticed and offered to replace it. She couldn't pry the steak off the table it was so good! Highly recommend it. Make sure you get reservations.“
