“There's a reason this place is nearly 5 stars. Starting off with the very generous portions and fair prices you surely won't leave hungry walking into this joint. Secondly I tried their soup of the day beef barley and it was great, I wish I got a picture of my main course ?. The complimentary popcorn was mouthwatering.“
“Occasional food specials on certain days which we have not tried yet, but what a beautiful historic gem in Marine City to enjoy a beer or cocktail surrounded by a lot of history! The new owners have done a remarkable job restoring the place and they have more they plan to do.Nice courtyard area - live regular music, and very friendly staff! Newport is just around the corner off the main drag Water Street near the beach.“
“Glad San Souci Bar is open again! Even though all new inside, it still looks like the original bar... just nicer! Large selection of nice wines and spirits too, plenty of TVs scattered around for sports.We started with nachos and after enjoying about half of them realized the new chef forgot to add the tomatoes & lettuce. The bartender offered to quickly remedy, but the chips and base was very good so included the photo! Looking forward to coming back again soon.“
“While cruising the Lake side, friend and I decided to try a local places food and drink. Came across Snoopy’s. Can definitely tell this is a locals regular spot. Ordered the shrimp basket and a Reuben, just as suspected the homemade food was Phenomenal! Made to order food, great portions, quick service and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend for those driving thru and want a great homemade meal and drink from a local joint. We will be making the stop again when we pass thru. Thanks!“

“Old local bar, good service, great prices, $.25 a game pool!! Clean bathrooms. They really cater to the pool leagues, but the tables could use an upgrade. But all in all a really nice place to go to. Oh and I forgot a real nice shuffle board table!“
