“I’ve only ever carried out from here, but in my opinion, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in my area (I live in Royal Oak). Their portions are generous, and the food itself is awesome. One thing I notice with Chinese take-away is that you never know what to expect. You might get all rice/noodles, no meat and veggies, or the opposite. Every time I’ve gone to Trizest I get the perfect proportions of everything. This is now my go-to. I’d recommend to anyone and they deserve the recognition.“

“I've ordered carry-out from May Hong before and it's always been amazing. It's ready when I've walked through the door and piping hot, plus tasty. A personal favorite is the Sesame Chicken. Egg rolls are also delicious!

However, a friend and I decided to dine in two weekends ago. There may have been a rush before us that had just left, but there was only a single clean table available, and one staff person handling all the orders and cleaning.

We ordered, and I waited half an hour--no exaggeration--for a bubble tea. I decided to try something new that night, the honey chicken. No real taste of honey to be found. Stick with the Sesame or Sweet & Sour Chicken since you can't go wrong with those.

Also, the booths? A group of people left behind me and new people came in. Every time someone moves behind you, you can feel it and it's quite jarring when you're trying to eat.

The staff person we dealt with tried her hardest, and she was very, very nice, just severely overworked.

May Hong is still worth ordering from for the food, but keep it to carry-out. Dining in isn't the best experience.“

I must admit, I was reluctant having seen the little place for years and I never looked busy which I took as it must not be good. I was wrong! I will be ordering here from now on.“

“The best Chinese in the state of Michigan . We used to live a couple of blocks down auburn rd and we would take out once a week. Now the last 5 years whenever the wife , kids and I want Chinese we have to drive 1/2 hour to get Pings . Really there is no eating at another Chinese place once you have one bite of their generous and delectable proportions . House made duck sauce and egg rolls are the best ever !“

“We have ordered from here quite a few times! Everything that we have tried so far is delicious! They are one of the few places you can sub lo mein for rice in a combo dinner. The General Tso is always great! My kids love the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. We recently tried the Hong Shui Gai and Moo Shui - both were great. I was a little bummed they served it with tortillas instead of the spring pancakes but it was still delicious! Hot mustard sauce is also a big hit in our house and has a the perfect level of spice!“

“Service was a tad slow, but our waitress was attentive when we needed her attention. Atmosphere was just ok, not amazing, but not the absolute worst. The restaurant mainly had Chinese people, which was comforting because if Chinese people came to eat here, it means that the food is probably actually decent.

The food was the best part here. I came here with my white husband, and I told him I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavor of the tea they served us while we waited.

We got our appetizer of pork bao buns, which were yummy. My husband got his beef brisket noodle soup not long after while I had to wait a bit longer for my fried rice and orange chicken to come. The fried rice was just ok, and the orange chicken was pretty good, considering it seemed like they used orange rind in the sauce. My husband was mind blown over the portion of my food since I also got an egg roll with my meal for $13! It was huge, enough to cover like 1-2 more meals.

“There aren’t many Chinese restaurants I like anymore, but decided to order a carry out tonight from China Town. It was some of the best Chinese I’ve had in ages. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The packaging was nice, leaking styrofoam. Everything had a secure lid. I got the house fried rice and it was so good! Had fresh pork, chicken, shrimp, and veggies in it for a small up charge. Nice sized shrimp too! Really so very pleasantly surprised! Will definitely be back.“

“I order from here on DoorDash often. It’s so hard to find a good Chinese food place and I’m so happy I discovered this!! The food is so fantastic!! The sweet and sour chicken with white rice and wonton soup is my fav. The chicken is cut nice and small - there are never any big weird pieces!! Which I super appreciate! I also love their rangoons and spring rolls. Oh the beef lo mein is great too. And the orange chicken! Absolutely love everything I’ve tried here.“
