“We have been enjoying Culver’s in Standale/Walker since they opened, but, it is our experience that the quality of the food is gradually going down a bit. We usually get the fish sandwiches and also have enjoyed the onion rings, but, our last order was not good. Last Thursday, we ordered two two-piece fish dinners and substituted onion rings for the fries. This was a take-out order. When we got home and began to eat the food, we found the meal to be at a considerably low standard of quality. It tasted as though the oil used to fry both the fish and the rings was “old oil” and needed to be changed. It was quite disappointing for having paid $27 for the two meals expecting a decent fish dinner. We DID, however enjoy the coleslaw.“

“Just tried Tastefull Vegan Ice Cream today and it was FANTASTIC! I am allergic to gluten, dairy, some tree nuts and a few other things, and this is a game changer! I haven’t always been allergic to these things so I know what “normal” iced cream tastes like. This is the closest thing to normal ice cream I’ve ever had, maybe even better! My husband also had some and he does not have the allergic I do. He said it’s some of the best ice cream he’s had in a long time! We will definitely be back before the end of the season! Also, you have to try the pumpkin pie flurry and the banana pudding flurry!“

“I had their vegan coconut and dark chocolate in a vegan waffle bowl. The ice cream was so smooth and rich and satisfying. It was delicious! I was excited to be able to have those options! I definitely recommend them to anyone!“

They are a young couple that has been a part of the Kentwood community for a long time. They are the nicest, hard working people you could ever meet. It's those kind of people who really make a difference in our Kentwood community. I believe in supporting small business so we will be coming back. They gave us the best customer service and their ice cream was so good and very affordable vs. other ice cream shops we have visited. And it's close to home! I'd like to first start off by saying that the ice cream was great. The interior was very clean, bright, and lovely. Cartoons were playing on a large flatscreen TV—the atmosphere suggested it was a family friendly location. This was completely quashed, however, by the explicit music playing in the background. It completely ruined the atmosphere and soured my experience. Children come here, and that should be placed into consideration when selecting the music that's going to be playing while they're there. I'm no stranger to listening to music with suggestive lyrics, but there's a difference between hearing themes implied in lyrics vs. having them outright described without filter, especially in a public space. It felt disrespectful and inconsiderate, and this alone turned what would've been a five star experience into a two star one. I can't see myself coming back here until this is addressed.“

“Most often we have a great experience here, nice little ice cream shop.

I do have to say, today we had a young girl working the pickup window that was extremely rude. Slid the ice cream at myself saying I was wrong for my confusion on the size I ordered. At the end of the day it's just ice cream, but my wife and I were taken aback on how rude she was.

“We rented a Bumblebee Ice Cream Cart for our wedding instead of serving cake and it was a huge hit with our guests! The cart is so cute and a really fun and unique wedding dessert option. There were plenty of options to choose from so we had a great variety and they provided some dairy free and gluten free popsicles for guests that needed it. Amy was great to work with for coordinating everything. Delivery was easy and on time and we ended up returning the cart ourselves a few days later since we couldn't leave anything at the venue overnight which was a convenient option. Great experience!“

“Cute place in the middle of downtown - was clean, good froyo flavors and plenty of toppings. My only issue was that the 6$ cup and 8$ cup were so so similar in size - a bit disappointing (I guess they change that cup often since it’s the most bought size).“

“I ordered two soft served ice cream one lemon and one vanilla flavored in a cone with nuts, turned over in a cup. It was so hot outside and I had to travel. My server put the ice cream in a cup and in another bag she put the cones. It worked out fine, because I had to travel far and the ice cream was still good, no spills. I love Woody's!“

Checked the menu out and everything sounded good. Was advised that everything was made in house which is awesome. I got the Papa Midnight and my daughter got the coco-nut. “This place is amazing. Great food made fresh, and the employees are nice and polite. Only downside I think you'll run into is that its always busy, probably because its so good. Definitely recommended to bring the family. Get the beef pot roast platter on sour dough bread with instead of a roll.“
