“Our family visits Michigan about once a year, and there’s one restaurant we always make sure to stop at — Asian Express! It’s seriously delicious. Not just good, but so amazing that once you taste it, you can’t stop thinking about it.
The dish we never skip is the spicy fried fish. We always order two servings haha. I’ve never heard of or tasted anything like it before. Every bite is a flavor that can’t be imitated, strangely addictive and unforgettable.
And the sweet and sour pork! It comes out freshly fried, crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside, not overly sweet. Every bite makes you go “Wow~”.
The stir-fried squid is huge, too. We usually save some leftover sauce and mix it with rice for another meal — and it’s still unbelievably tasty. Our whole family keeps exclaiming how good it is while eating.
We also can’t skip the dumplings and shrimp fried rice. The dumplings are crispy outside and juicy inside, and the shrimp fried rice has such amazing flavor. Even with five of us eating, we kept going “Wow, wow” the whole time haha.
The parking lot is spacious, but the dining area inside is a bit small. That’s why we usually go around 4 PM when it’s less crowded. That way we can enjoy our meal comfortably.
Most of all, the owner is incredibly kind. Even though we only come once a year, she remembers us and sometimes gives us free rice or dumplings — it’s really touching. Last year, during our five-day stay, we went twice, so there’s no reason not to go haha. Honestly, we’re even thinking about going again tomorrow.
If you don’t go, you’ll regret it. Our family absolutely recommends this place. Once you taste it, you’ll keep thinking about it — it’s a must-visit when you’re in Michigan!“

“Make sure you double check your pick up orders. I ordered a plate with Mushroom chicken and beef/broccoli, as you can see from my picture, I only received 1 entree. It’s understandable that people get things wrong sometimes but Panda has no way to correct things like this; I messaged the help option on the app days ago but I have gotten no message back. A partial refund would be great.
Update: Panda customer service contacted me yesterday and made it right.“

“I cannot recommend this place enough!! My family has been dining at this very restaurant since I was little. They’ve always been great to us and have the BEST Thai food I’ve ever had. I now live around 40 minutes away and still make the trip back just to eat here. Always order the Bangkok chicken, Pad Thai, and soup.
I remember they used to have an older gentleman that would cook in the back and he was a bit more heavy handed on the spice so if we saw him we would always order mild lol. We’ve had many memories tied to this place and I will continue to make many more.“

“The food here was very good, and the waitresses were incredibly fast—honestly, they were moving so quickly you almost missed them. However, the experience was a bit mixed. I think we may have had a new cook because he didn't put on much of a show, especially compared to the energy we saw from the other chefs. Others were flipping and spinning things. Not ours tho. We also felt pretty rushed at the end; the staff actually started putting fresh plates and silverware on the table for the next guests before we were even finished eating.“

“Disclaimer before I start my POSITIVE review: order from places that have your allergens at your own risk!!!
Tragically, I have a peanut allergy and absolutely love Chinese food. Sometimes I will go into a restaurant to ask if my allergy can be accommodated and the answer is no, which is fine! I appreciate the honesty! I was worried that might be the case here but it wasn't!
I ordered orange chicken (which is safe) and asked about the roast pork lo mein. The woman at the counter informed me that all their lo mein has peanut butter, BUT she could make it without if I wanted it. I was kind of surprised and was already prepared to order something else as a side just in case, but I took her up on the offer because I love lo mein!!! She noted my allergy on the receipt. Although I do not understand Chinese, I 100% know I heard her say something to the kitchen about an allergy/allergen as the food was being prepared.
Non-allergy related stuff: the food was delicious and the portions are generous. It was my first time having anything other than veggies in lo mein (I don't deviate my Chinese orders much due to food allergies) and I loved the pork in there! I am excited to have leftovers for the next few days! My boyfriend ordered General Tso's chicken and although we got it to go, he started eating it in the car before we drove off because it smelled so good lol.“
