“Be careful when ordering online. They automatically tip themselves. (I always tip cash) They got double tip on a carry out. Food was okay. Not like when previous owners had it.“

“We ate there on Sunday, March 1. While the became busy, the service NEVER lacked. Our service was excellent. She was so pleasant, accommodating, helpful and happy. The food was also great. Mom wanted some traditional Chinese food with bean sprouts and our waitress helped mom find a number of options that gave her the vegetables she wanted. She was also very accommodating for our 3.5 year old grandson- she gave him special treats. My husband said we were at Wing Lauk about 13 years ago but began to goto another restaurant that was closer, but not as good. We will definitely be coming back here when we want Chinese cuisine.“

“Surprisingly good for such a small place. I especially like the hot & sour soup. Seems like every place makes it a little different, some good, others, not so much. Their version is awesome. Also, the pad Thai - very tasty.“

“Service was fast and very nice.
Tried the sesame chicken with fried rice, egg roll, and a side of crab rangoon.
Best egg roll I've had, crispy yet soft to the bite, fresh on the inside.
Crab Rangoon was too onion forward for my taste, a lot of onion.
Fried rice was solid, could've used some of that onion they used in the rangoons
Sesame chicken was very sweet, almost too sweet, solid pieces of white meat chicken but the breading wasn't as crispy as I like it. Feel like it started that way, but then they dressed it with the sauce and it soaked in.
Overall pretty solid, will be back to try other things“

“Best Chinese food in metro-Detroit, hands down! Nothing frozen, all fresh..they hand bread the chicken and it is fried to absolute golden brown perfection! The general Tao’s sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Egg rolls are light and crisp. Happy you is amazing consistent, I’ve been a customer for 10+ years and I’ve never been disappointed. They are also extremely friendly, portions are big and the prices are very reasonable! A+++“

“My wife and I have lived/worked in both China and Taiwan, her family is originally from Hong Kong and this is the best “American style” Chinese food in SE Michigan. Great meals, great portions, and awesome service. This place is busy for a reason!“

“The food here is absolutely amazing, some of the best Chinese cuisines i’ve ever had. I ordered Chicken and Vegetables, the chicken was juicy and the veggies were fresh. The customer service was great and the portions were big. Will be returning and recommending.“

“First time here and it was very good. Being a native metro Detroiter I recall the days of fabulous almond boneless chicken (ABC) from one particular restaurant. 30+ years later, I’m still searching for that taste. This place is pretty darn close. The lunch combo portion was huge, more than enough for two very generous servings. In fact when I picked up the order the bag was so heavy I checked inside to be sure I had gotten the right order. The chicken was tender and breading crisp despite my not eating it for 45 minutes after picking it up. The gravy is the a bit salty neon yellow I recall. The fried rice with a few bean sprouts mixed in was equally good. I did not care for the eggroll, but its importance was marginal. The place is primarily carryout, although they have a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your food. My order was ready promptly. So if you’re one of those metro Detroiters looking to satisfy“

“THE BEST SUSHI EVER! I just had their sushi yesterday and am stilling thinking about it ! I recommend the sexy lady rolls- it’s so perfect. Spicy tuna, spicy salmon, spicy yellowtail, avocado and three different types of fish eggs on top. I also love that they have red clams too which I can’t find most other places.“

“Moved to Pontiac and this is just down the street from me. Ordered General Tso chicken and for $11 I got like 2 lbs. in a big white Styrofoam box (packed) They do NOT skimp on the portions and the Pork fried rice was amazing and the Egg drop soup was also good. I have their menu on my refrigerator and plan on ordering almost everything on the menu before the year is out.“

“China Express is hands down one of the best spots around! The service is always fast, friendly, and welcoming—you can tell they really care about their customers. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Every dish tastes like it’s made with care, and the portions are generous for the price.“

“This is that hole-in-the-wall Chinese spot your grandpa used to rave about and it still is. Been here since the early 90s for a reason! The sear and smokiness on the fried rice I got was to perfection and it was the old g-ma that cooked it, very legit American Chinese cuisine“

“Our food was good!
I had the sweet & sour chicken with vegetable fried rice and my wife had the almond boneless chicken with fried rice.
While I agree with some comments that their “fried rice” is not the most “fried” to the level that you see at other places, the quality of the food overall was good.
We both enjoyed our food and thought this to have been one of the better Chinese food experiences we have had in the past!
We will come back.
Thank you“

“Delicious food and consistent service. Nice portions and great prices it’s like a hidden gem in Pontiac. Like this may seem dramatic but this may be my new FAVORITE Chinese restaurant in Oakland county and I’ve tried many. The food is delicious and affordable and that matters.“
