“We went here for valentine's day and I have not been in this restaurant in 15 plus years. This was an early dinner 4:00 pm and although the parking lot was full the restaurant did not seem that full. Upon entering we were greeted promptly and seated at the back of the place in what seemed like a two person, high top cubby. I was OK with this but my husband's chair was wobbly and he felt like he had to lean over to get to his food. The interior is really nothing special with concrete floors and whitewashed walls but this fits in with the beach vibe. Our waitress greeted us promptly and was knowledgeable and friendly. My husband ordered a ceasar salad to start but they lost the salad as they joked and had to go find where it went. The food seemed to take a bit of time to get out to us but taste was good when it arrived. Now I am a visual eater with my eyes first and the plate has to look well presented. My plate was the hanger steak and frits and my steak was cooked perfectly rare like I asked but it could have used a bit more flavor and please do not put a side of ketchup on my plate if I want that I'll ask for it. I was really looking forward to the aujus that was posted on the menu with it. Now don't get me wrong they give you a half pound of delicious fries which honestly they could cut those in half and add a nice roasted brussel sprout with bacon. My husband enjoyed his stroganoff very much. Overall we would return and try other items on the menu.“

“Unbelievably good, coming from a first time customer. Everything is house made, and it shows in the taste and quality. Built my own pizza with the scratch made sausage, couldn’t have been better. The meatball sub was one of the best, if not best, sandwich I’ve ever had. Meatballs were homemade, fresh, phenomenal bread and house made sauce. I’ve worked in restaurants the past 18 years, I don’t write reviews often, this place made me stop in my tracks. My only complaint… I need one closer to my house! Easiest recommendation I can make, try it all.“

“Stopped in for the first time. Tried a flight of the beers and ciders. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Most of the beers were very good, the juice weasel is a very good hazy IPA! It is also on the tag-a-brew trail, so double bonus“

“We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at The Biscuit last Sunday. Lily’s chicken apple hash, the biscuits, the homemade strawberry.jam were all delicious. My husband enjoyed the French toast, and my latte was excellent, too. (I’m am particular about good coffee.). Our server was friendly and attentive. And, finally, the atmosphere is cozy with original artwork on the walls. We.live in the area and plan to return often.“

“My husband and I had dinner there on Friday 11/7 for our anniversary. Everything was great except for the full rack of ribs my husband ordered. There was something in the sauce that tasted like cinnamon. I know that it is a common thing to do but it was so over powering and he was not able to eat them. I wanted to tell the server but my husband didn't want to cause an issue. Our appetizers and my meal was fantastic and the service was great! Maybe just ease up on the cinnamon or whatever that was it was in the sauce.“

Lately, it's not easy to fine good service and quality food at a decent price. You hit all three. I have worked in food service for decades. It was really great, to come in to pick up my order, and see a lot of people working behind the counter, not just standing around. And to the 2 young men at the registers, great job!! “We go every other Sunday evening but that ends now! this location is disgusting, it's dirty and on super bowl Sunday the floors where so slick my abled body almost became disabled from a fall and not one employee seemed to care or even bother to get a slippery floor sign. This is a direct failure in management as they are not concerned about the conditions of the restaurant. Our family of 7 will not be returning and warning everyone to stay away until new management is brought in and a very very deep cleaning is done!!!“

All other places in area were on long waits but without telling her or pushing for it, the manager said she could fit us in before their next reservation. “Fantastic venue for a casual or special occasion. We visited this past New Year's weekend and our server Christian was fast, accurate, and accommodating. He answered questions about the liquor available and the specials Beechwood had available. The food was AMAZING! The plating was gorgeous - certainly Instagram worthy and what's better is that the food tasted as good as it looked. The fries to my beyond burger were so hot you could see the steam rising. Our appetizer of brisket dip is to return over and over for. Steak was cooked as requested and was gorgeously decorated with those classic grill marks. the restaurant was clean. Employees were friendly and seemed happy to be there - which in turn we can't wait to visit again!“

“I got the breakfast burrito, quesadilla and big breakfast. They were all really really good, but they tried automatically adding a 15% tip for an online order and that always annoys me. They also forgot to add the butter to the order which cost extra. Overall I would go again since it had a great flavor profile, but I wouldn’t spend my own money here again due to the price (luckily it was on a company card)“

“We were her during tulip time. This was the only place not packed before and after our day in Holland. Nice bar layout and typical bar decor. Bartender was nice. After we did some tulip things we walked downtown looking for a place to eat and ended up back here. They got slammed and they only had 3 people working the floor, I believe. Everyone was doing their best under the circumstances. We had the deluxe taco and the specialty pizza and it was amazing.“

“My hubby & I are fans as it is, but tonight we were very impressed. The GH location was on Fox news, and as you would expect, the place was swamped! (We did go to Ferrysburg though.). Anyway, the young man in charge as well as 3 teen girls were so awesome! They were happy & hustling! It was refreshing to see young people working hard and working so well together!
