“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

“My daughter & I ordered a Kaffta wrap & Gyro. Both where phenomenal!!! I have ate there previously, the food is excellent, fresh, made right in front of you. The charcoal is what makes it for me... The restaurant is the cleanest it could possibly be, bathrooms included. I can't say enough about the service, I believe I dealt with the Husband/Wife owners, they are awesome people. They will give you a great experience with a smile. I can't say enough about this place, if you don't try it your missing out, support the mom & pop industry, they give you more than any chain business can provide. I'll keep coming back. Way to go guys!!! you have something special...“

“This place is amazing! And not just the food… The family owned atmosphere and the people running it our amazing. While I was waiting for my takeout order, I started talking to the two owners, their two adult sons, whowho were all having dinner… I commented how good their homemade chicken wings smelled and looked. Before I knew it, I was being forced to eat their chicken wings, dates, and the specialty drink that they were having for their dinner. I can’t wait to go back! The food is so good and the people were better.“

“Great beautiful place with great ambiance. Three people in my party ordered the Branzino - from what we could eat it was delicious - however, it should have been fileted. I have never seen or had so many bones in my mouth from any fish. Wondering if it was really Branzino. The three of us could barely eat the fish, it was almost impossible. You would think that such a good chef would do that to make sure we didn''t get any bones stuck in our throats. Otherwise, all the other food was great -just don't order the Branzino unless they filet it.“

“The best carry out ever! The Al Sultan Combo for 2 was way more than we needed but we are so excited that we will have left overs for tomorrow! The meat was cooked to perfection! The flavors in the rice, hummus and fattoush salad rounded out the perfect meal. No complaints! Just compliments!“

“I orderes through DoorDash and figured I'd give them a shot. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, small tabouleh, and medium fries as they didnt have an option for small through DoorDash. I dont know if something got lost in translation or if its genuinely like this everytime, but the tabouleh and fries I got would be large or extra large at most other places. The tabouleh was the best ive had from outside the home. The fries are fantastic, and the chicken shawarma came LOADED.“

They are gracious with filling the sub up with quality meats and toppings and the mayo is so delicious I always order extra. We needed a last minute order for 15 people and were scrambling after calling 5 other mediterranean restaurants that all quoted us $300.00 or more. Sheesh came through for us in the best way. The owner, Mike< was personally involved, incredibly helpful and made the process easy and stress free. Not only was the service outstanding, but the price was more than fair-just $180.00 for everything we needed. The food was fresh, delicious and everyone in our family]group loved it. It's rare to find a place that combines quality, value, and genuinely caring customer service. Sheesh has deffinetly earned our future business.
