“Sitting sort of in a corner, I half expected this place to be a little hole in the wall, but it ended up being a lot bigger than it looks, and very nice inside. This place resembles one of the higher end Vegas (locals) hangouts, and the food is just as comparable. We're working our way around their menu, but the wings, filet tips, burgers and Lake Perch are excellent! We've had Joy as a server a few times and she is a excellent complement to the experience, and completely on top of everything! She's the first real professional I think we've encountered since moving to this area. This was a very pleasant surprise. Definitely worth the trip! It's also a lot quieter than all the chaotic bars and grills around town. You can actually carry on a conversation at your table while still enjoying the music!“
“Food was excellent, the decor was nice with what looked like trees that had very pretty blossoms on them. They also had animal heads on the walls which are not my favorite decor….. but it is a restaurant that serves exotic meat dishes, so it makes sense. Servers were very nice and food came quickly. “Went to open mic night on a Monday. Liked the atmosphere a lot. Service was excellent!! Waitstaff was kind and friendly and on top of things. Great ambiance. The prices for a Monday and no happy hour on a Monday was a bit off putting. On average beers were $8 (basic beer). White claws $6.50. Sliders $2 each. Chips and salsa $4. I thought the food was good and decent prices but beers were pretty pricey.“

“Great food and great staff. Began going to Sparkies 2 or 3 times per month about 8 or 9 months ago. With the exception of one visit, which I spoke to management about, every visit has been excellent. Typical restaurant noise, a little loud for people that are hard of hearing during their busiest hours, but not any worse than any other place around. Everything we have tried has been exceptional. Our favorites are the Fish and Chips and the Jambalaya“
“The Lakes catered a bridal shower for us today. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. We had the Michigan Salad, Firecracker Pasta w/Chicken and Salmon w/Citrus Cream Sauce. The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.“

“Front staff was a little short tempered and fairly rude this visit. We just needed to seat 5 people at the non high top tables as we had one person who was handicapped joining our party. Waitress was pretty good, and the food was decent.Parking: When super busy parking is a little tricky but right next to Busch's grocery store, so can walk a lil bit if needed. “Love this place. Across from Walled Lake. Karaoke is great on Friday nights but very crowded. It's a bar type of atmosphere.Parking: It depends on the day. During the day it's fine & early evenings. Nights when things like Kareoke are taking place the lot gets crowded & you have to find other parking close by.“

The server was outstanding and the food was excellent after sending one burger back because it was cooked medium, not well as ordered. It was quickly replaced and our beverages were refilled promptly, without asking. We will return in the future.“
“If you're looking for good bar food, you've came to the right place! They have booths as well as bar seating. There were multiple tvs to watch sports games. They have specials every day of the week. We went on a Saturday and got a $15 bucket of beer as well as 20 boneless wings for $20.We got the everhthing stix to start! OMG, they were so good! Fluffy and doughy, buttery on the outside, with everything seasoning. They served it with garlic cream cheese which was the perfect dipping sauce! The wings were great, and the sauce was even better! We got the sauce on the side and got Buffalo ranch, ranch, mango habanero, and Carolina BBQ. Our favorite was the ranch and Carolina BBQ. They all had great flavor!The fries were lightly seasoned and crunchy. Our server checked on us frequently and was very attentive!“

Mary was our server, and let me tell you, she is absolutely fantastic! Good customer service is so hard to come by these days, so it was a real treat to have someone so kind, energetic and dedicated to her job waiting on us.
