“This restaurant is a family favorite! We have been dining here for over 8 years and even held our rehearsal dinner here! Moon is an outstanding person and greets us every-time we visit. Several family and friends we send her way to try the food. Always fast,fresh and very large dishes! We end up with so much left over we make a few lunches out if it :) our daughter loves the lo mien and she's a very picky toddler :) so good! Never disappointed and very friendly personable staff!“

“The employees are very friendly and I’ve never eaten an item off the menu I didn’t love! They do lunch discounts and combos too. The food isn’t greasy like other places I’ve been and there’s always quick service - though I’m not a fan that they pick their own hours to work as any time I call when their website says they’re open, no one is there. After 12:30p seems to be the best time. I placed a take away order and had to call back as I realized I left my car keys in a friend’s car. She kindly said she’d hold my order. Nearly an hour later when I finally got my keys, Wendy had told me she cooked what would save but didn’t want to make the rest until I got there so it wouldn’t be cold. I appreciated her so much.“

I was shocked to see that they had Mexican food options, So I immediately grabbed a tortilla and started putting meat, cheese, lettuce, and eggs to make a delicious taco. “Stopped in for dinner about 5:30 on a Friday. Conner was our waiter, he was perfect. Very attentive and professional. Asked the right questions at the right time. Drinks, appetizers and dinner orders. The portion size of the dinners were great. The flavor of our dinners were 100%. Our family has been there a number of times over the years, and I can say that it, has always been an enjoyable experience.“

“They are a little bit expensive I will say but you do get a lot of food for the price you pay, also the food is enough for two people and even have some left overs. First time trying them out and definitely was not disappointed at all. Very friendly, customer service was great and the lady who took our order was really sweet. Didn't take long at all for us to get our food, there are fast and prompt. Everything we ordered was all correct didn't have any issues. We will definitely be back again to try out some other menu items..Thanks again“

As a food enjoyer and having travelled to Asia for work previously, this place is as close as I’ve found in west Michigan to the great, complex flavors of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan, etc. Get in here and give it a try. This can be determined by each person when they visit because when you walk in you can clearly see the kitchen! It’s wide open and you can see all the way to the back it is always clean swept. Who can say that about other restaurants! They are very very friendly, they speak broken English so if you call that rude then you don’t go there you don’t belong in a Resturant if you’re not patient ! “This is the best Chinese food. I'm very picky but I LOVE their Honey Chicken and my favorite is the Beef, Chicken, and Shrimp with Broccoli in Garlic Sauce. I adore the family that owns and operates it who recognized me even when I hadn't been there in a while (I don't live nearby so can only get it if I'm in GR). I can't recommend them enough and would give them a sixth star if I could.“

“They are my # 1 go to place for Chinese food, we have been going to this restaurant for about 18 years now. They give u so much food when you order whatever my favorites are the orange chicken combination, or beef or pork lomein, sweet and sour chicken combination, beef and broccoli comb, Mongolian beef combo, these are some of our favorites but try whatever and I promise you will not be disappointed. Yes the prices have increased because of the inflation of everything going up of course but they didn't go up that much like 2-3 bucks more. But for all the food you get it's definitely worth it. Hell I even have food left over for the next day. Definitely give them a try you won't be disappointed. The family that owns the place are really super sweet, very good folks.“

“I decided to order food here because I saw that their lunch menu was very affordable and I’m a broke college student working downtown for the summer. I got the beef and broccoli order with the side of chicken fried rice- I just took my first bite and it’s wonderful! The flavor is awesome in the rice, beef and vegetables and my order came with an AWESOME amount of food as well! It was ready for me to pick up only 15 minutes after I called to order.

Look at the picture I’ve provided, I got all of this for a little less than $12! I will absolutely be coming again and getting my lunches from the Hong Kong Express! :)“

So many people praise Bangkok Thai downtown GR but they never fully season their vegan dishes and this place actually does, they don’t skimp of flavor and texture even with the plant based substitutes. “Tai fried rice (chicken) has excellent flavor. Pineapple is a nice touch in the rice. Heat was just right and I'm a lightweight for spiciness. Plenty of food for a good price. Even though the place was fairly full, the atmosphere was calm and not too loud. We had a both and it felt private even though it wasn't. Service is precise and swift.“

“Amazing food best Chinese food I have ever ate. The manager Marco is so amazing. A mistake was made he he was accommodating and very respectful. My first time having lo mein. I was surprised it was good. Egg roll good. The other foods I ate was amazing. I will definitely be ordering from panda Express on Alpine more often. It is the only Chinese place I will go to now.“
