“Food court chineese food. The orange chicken was sweeter than other chineese places, and the crab rangoons were sweeter too. Not complaining, I enjoyed it. They gave me a sample to try before I ordered too. Gave a lot of food for a reasonable amount of dollars. You're getting exactly what you'd expect.“

“The restaurant is essentially one large room with a dining room of tables and booths on one side separated by a short wall with the menu items on the other. There is a second dining area towards the back, which I would guess is for private parties.

There is a wide variety of the usual Chinese-menu items, from traditional vegetables to meats and fish. A separate dessert station offers various cakes, cookies, puddings, and even a self-serve ice cream station.

The food is good and the cooks keep things well stocked. Since it is a buffet, the freshness of the items is largely dependent on timing, but that is true with any buffet.

The servers are courteous and professional.

“This restaurant is a family favorite! We have been dining here for over 8 years and even held our rehearsal dinner here! Moon is an outstanding person and greets us every-time we visit. Several family and friends we send her way to try the food. Always fast,fresh and very large dishes! We end up with so much left over we make a few lunches out if it :) our daughter loves the lo mien and she's a very picky toddler :) so good! Never disappointed and very friendly personable staff!“

“They are a little bit expensive I will say but you do get a lot of food for the price you pay, also the food is enough for two people and even have some left overs. First time trying them out and definitely was not disappointed at all. Very friendly, customer service was great and the lady who took our order was really sweet. Didn't take long at all for us to get our food, there are fast and prompt. Everything we ordered was all correct didn't have any issues. “Perfect place for genuinely tasty food. The Singapore Rice Noodles (Singapore Mai Fun) was perfect. The curry powder perfectly seasoned the noodles and the meats were picture and taste perfect. Also tried the Jai Yuan chicken also perfectly seasoned. The dumplings felt house made, were plump and tasty. Definitely worth a trip off the main road.“

“I don't come here often because its a ways away from where we live. That being said, I do get a chance to come here when I am in this part of town, and I have to say I really like this place. The sweet and sour soup as well as the eggdrop soup are both delicious. I typically get the chicken with vegetables and my wife gets the pork fried rice. Both dishes are very good and the portions are large. I am always very satisfied with my food. Highly recommended!“

As a food enjoyer and having travelled to Asia for work previously, this place is as close as I’ve found in west Michigan to the great, complex flavors of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan, etc. Get in here and give it a try. The fried rice was good and the sweet and sour chicken was good, a little tough/dry but overall not horrible, the egg rolls are huge too! “I decided to order food here because I saw that their lunch menu was very affordable and I’m a broke college student working downtown for the summer. I got the beef and broccoli order with the side of chicken fried rice- I just took my first bite and it’s wonderful! The flavor is awesome in the rice, beef and vegetables and my order came with an AWESOME amount of food as well! It was ready for me to pick up only 15 minutes after I called to order.

Look at the picture I’ve provided, I got all of this for a little less than $12! I will absolutely be coming again and getting my lunches from the Hong Kong Express! :)“

“I went here a few days ago to celebrate me finishing high school early and I wanted to try pho for the first time. My friend and their mom recommended this spot for me try and I have to say I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else but here. “This is the best Chinese food. I'm very picky but I LOVE their Honey Chicken and my favorite is the Beef, Chicken, and Shrimp with Broccoli in Garlic Sauce. The food isn’t greasy like other places I’ve been and there’s always quick service - though I’m not a fan that they pick their own hours to work as any time I call when their website says they’re open, no one is there. After 12:30p seems to be the best time. I placed a take away order and had to call back as I realized I left my car keys in a friend’s car. She kindly said she’d hold my order. Nearly an hour later when I finally got my keys, Wendy had told me she cooked what would save but didn’t want to make the rest until I got there so it wouldn’t be cold. I appreciated her so much.“

“This review is about the food and service, not a lot of bells and whistles as far as atmosphere goes, but the food and service have been great! Try the shrimp toast, you won't be disappointed (hard to find these days in MI)! This is not a buffet.“

“I really like having the option to get panda express when I'm craving late night Chinese (all the other options close like an hour or two before panda express does). The options are somewhat limited maybe but the items they do carry are just as good as the other places, sometimes better in fact. It's also slightly cheaper than my other takeout go-tos so I enjoy eating from there.“

“I highly recommend trying their food there. I am a visitor to Grand Rapids and I ate there for two consecutive days and bring food back to Chicago. The BBQ pork is still crispy when I get home!!! I saw some reviews complaining about their service and charged tips to their bill. That's Not True. If you can do math and if you have checked price on menu, you will find they did NOT charge tips to your bill. “Always taken care of immediately, servers always happy to help and kind, cleared plates when you get up for your 2nd,3rd,4th,5th helping with no judgements on uneaten food left on plate. Korean steak is really great, Mongolian beef regular and spicy great! Ribs are great! Crab ragoon great! fried rice is good, taco bar is great, desserts are good especially the coffee cube cake bites with ice cream is delicious. My picky 12yr old son loves it!
