“While the food was good, service needs improvement. I had the Potato Skins which were very good. My husband had the Ruben. He asked for fries and got waffle fries. Was never offered seasoned sour cream, while my cousin ordered fries, got crinkle cut fries and was offered seasoned sour cream. My husband said the Ruben was good but could have used a little more dressing. Not once were our water glasses refilled or was the offer made to have them refilled.“

“Very good food, the chef is always trying something new which is refreshing instead of having the same items. They prevent their menu from getting stale like some many others. Stacey is amazing, not only a great bartender but she does so much more for Celts. The rest of the staff are really good too. Highly recommend“

“I love coming to Cowboy Jacks in Apple Valley! The staff is amazing and I love the food and happy hour specials. I also want to give a shout out to one of the managers, Calvin who intervened when he saw a man at the bar harassing me. I didn’t even have to ask him, but he could tell I was uncomfortable and asked the man to leave. It is so refreshing to go to a bar where the staff truly cares about the well-being of their customers! Great work to this whole team! I will most definitely be back!! ?“

“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! Shout out to Michael our server - he always goes above and beyond (I somehow always end up in his section 😂 and he is fantastic!)“

“Came to McHugh's Public House recently to catch up with a friend. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive, and the restaurant, in spite of being pretty busy on a weekday evening, was laid out in a way that my friend and I could have a great conversation without having to shout. We kept things simple with the food and drinks, and everything we had was enjoyable. Will likely be back in the future if I'm in the area.“

The food and atmosphere really isn't incredible in any sense but the restaurant is clean, the food arrives quickly and accurately, and the sure maybe the menu variety is pretty limited but everything arrived hot and was tasty. “I am always skeptical of bar food, but Yankee Tavern was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the burrito bowl with the brisket on the side (I'm a vegetarian) and they were easily able to accommodate the request and give the brisket to my table mate. The food was incredibly flavorful. Yes, even without the meat. The rest of our party shared the same sentiment. The French fries were crispy, the food hot, the portions large, and the service was great. My only complaint is they only played new country music the entire time. That may actually keep me from returning.

Cheese curds are lightly battered and lightly fried. Perfectly melted cheese inside. Very nicely done.
Walleye had good flavor with a nice butter sauce.

“If you were looking for a fun cocktail, an excellent martini or old-fashioned with a light appetizer this is your place. The area is absolutely beautiful and the Omni is nice. But the place was horribly understaffed. We sat at the couch area with little expectations and went to the bar for our drinks. Ordered some food and it was very hard getting even napkins or plates, dirty dishes, just sat there. For the price you pay ($15 a drink , $20 for wings) you need to have more staff on a Sunday game day .“

Topped with bleu cheese crumble, bacon, crispy onion straws, buffalo, and garlic parmesan sauce
The onion straws were nice and crisp enough for me to eat even though im not a huge fan of onions they used real blue crumbles which added a nice creamy Ness the one thing I also had a vanilla apple cider that was ok one thing to note wish we had know its was bingo got kind of crazy with the kids running around but otherwise it was nice“

“Visited 01MAY2023 for lunch. There was only one waitress working who also served as hostess so it took a while for my party of three to get seated. When we did get seated the hostess/waitress told us that we could sit anywhere.
I ordered the cowboy club sandwich and tater tots which didn't take too long to arrive. The club sandwich was good but the tater tots were a bit cold.
Visited again 17NOV2025 for dinner. The service was excellent. Plenty of staffing with friendly staff.
Unfortunately, my meal was disappointing. I ordered the small cowboy cookout platter. My 3 meat selections were pork ribs, beef brisket, and chicken wings. The ribs and brisket came with sauce on them. I'm not a fan of the sauce and should've ordered it on the side. All 3 meats were dry. The positive is there was plenty of meat for $22, unfortunately none of it tasted good. The dinner came with baked beans and coleslaw which were actually good. You get a 3rd side with this platter so you better have an appetite if you're eating alone.“
