“This place is popular, and for good reason: you’ll get good food at more than fair prices, accompanied by great service. We have eaten at this Texas roadhouse location half a dozen times, and the service has always been exemplary.Chances are good that you’ll be greeted by a packed waiting area. I think the shortest wait we’ve ever had there is 20 minutes. (We’ve visited at both lunch and dinner times.) It’s not that they’re not turning over the large dining area quickly — the staff are hustling to be able to serve as many customers as possible. The servers have always been cheerful and exceptionally helpful. In my opinion, they’re the best thing about the place.The food is always tasty. We’ve sampled many things across the menu from ribs to chili to chicken to steak. Everything is very well prepared and tasty. Knock your socks off amazing? Not quite, but for the prices, it’s an excellent value.At my most recent visit, I ordered the Roadkill, which my server said, was very popular. I inquired what a chop steak was. She gave me a description that sounded good, when it arrived it became obvious that she had never eaten it before. You learn something every day: a chop steak is a hamburger patty. This particular hamburger patty… er, chop steak… was smothered in delicious onions and mushrooms and cheese with some tasty sides. Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the flavors, but did find it humorous when I pointed it out to the waitress. We both had a good laugh. I’ll probably order it again. My dining companions got ribs which were good (when they say “fall off the bone”, they ain’t kidding), and a chicken sandwich which was very good.For our taste, the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. The decor is cool and comfortable, but it is loud almost to the point of distressing. Some people may like that, but conversation is not easy. Your dinner may be interrupted by the most anemic line dance you’ve ever seen. The poor weight staff have to trudge to the center of the restaurant and go through the motions with some regularity as they crank up the music to nearly unbearable levels. (Closed circuit message to management: this adds next to nothing for the dining experience, and your weight staff obviously gets no joy out of it. It feels like it might’ve been cool… 25 years ago. “This place deserves five stars. We like to go there with our kids,, we can actually have conversations and not be rushed, well you pay more to enjoy excellent food slowly. Their meat variety is great, and it’s right off the grill. Anything, from steak to lamb chops, to house sausages. They also have very delicious salads and appetisers , bar style, and out of this world freshly grilled pineapple. Excellent for celebrations or any family gathering. Service is outstanding, everyone is always available and friendly. It’s a little bit cheaper than other similar style restaurants but far better food and service.“

“It was our first time here. The food, atmosphere and service was top notch. Our server, Richard, was exceptional. He was very friendly, knowledgeable of the food, gave the right amount of attention and most importantly he had a great sense of humor and is a great storyteller! ?❤️Parking: Easy to park and convenient to the restaurant.“

“This the type of steakhouse where you get in line and order your steak, pick a salad and desert place it on a tray and slide it down the counter till you get to the end and pay and your meat ant potato choice us ready.I had a Ribeye, fries, salad, Texas toast, soda, and a slice of Boston cream cake for just 13 cents short of 25$. There is also a soup of the day.I have been there 3 times now and every time my steak has been cooked to perfection. The ribs there are not to be missed either. It is not a upscale fancy place, it us very much old fashioned small town America, of which we are very grateful for! It is very busy at supper time, but we have never had and issue getting 5 - 8 of us seated at a table.Good food, friendly staff, good prices and you get a lot of food. The staff even carried my tray to the table which was a big help. If you find yourself in the area give them a try!“

“Took my daughter and her friend for dinner and they were way impressed!! We started with Ahi Tuna and crab cake appetizers, which were both amazing. He had the Black and Blue ribeye, she had the petite filet and my wife and I had the walleye blackened - I recommend any one of these entrees as they were all cooked to perfection. I also recommend the French onion soup- it's delicious!!“

“I love this place. We always go for the hibachi dinners and they are so good (Yum yum sauce is essential). The staff is very welcoming and gives good service. I personally haven't had the sushi but I've heard it's very good as well. Pretty cool style on the interior, nice lighting, and a relatively small space which is nice.“

“Highly recommend Jensen’s Food & Cocktails. Excellent service, outstanding food (steaks, seafood, burgers, salads) all very good. Delicious after dinner drinks too. Have dined here many times with clients, family & friends. Was there last night and had excellent service from Matt at the bar. Coloring menu and booster seats, bibs, however the atmosphere at any location can be hard for a child to smell and ignore.Wheelchair accessibility: It's good better than most. Also blind friendly and someone famous once said it was pretty good at helping people keep a low profile.“

“Dinner was FANTASTIC!! We had a lovely meal and had an amazing server - shout out to Lauren. She even put in the kids meals as appetizers to come out first, without us asking, which was amazing. I highly recommend the salmon & au gratin potatoes. We used to come here all the time when we lived just down the street, but we moved across the cities and haven’t been back in a while. It was a great experience and we’ll definitely make the drive to come back. Atmosphere was beautiful; the warm lights inside are so cheery.“

“Service was excellent Rick made the experience even better! Overall the food was good. I thought the restaurant was a little warm in temperature and the tables were very close together. We enjoyed the ribs, burger, buttermilk fried chicken salad and the smokehouse chicken sandwich. The fries were a bit of a shock never had salt and vinegar fries before but after a few bites they were actually pretty good. When I return to Minnesota I would definitely stop by again.“

“An incredible evening at one of the best steakhouses around. Went for my daughters birthday and from the second we walked in until we left everything was on point.At the start, almost everyone from the host to the busser wished happy birthdays upon my daughter as if they were old friends. Kids all ordered a Shirley temple, and the birthday girl got an incredible upgrade (pictured) with dry ice and palm leaves and like 10 cherries. My old fashioned was excellent and honestly a great value, drank it throughout the whole meal easily. Only weird thing here is they apparently intentionally don't put a cherry into the old fashioned - something I've not seen before - but we're happy to provide them upon my request.Nikki, our server, was exceptional the whole time. Great conversation, able to have fun and laugh with us. We really appreciated her attention to our table throughout which was the perfect balance of there without being intrusive while we chatted.Food order was filet mignon of course for most of us, and 2 of us took Nikkis advice and got the surf and turf which upgraded the meal with two scallops. Steaks were ofcourse exceptional, great bark and perfect inside. Scallops were good, but we thought the Bernaise was kinda out of place on them. Maybe it could have been served on the side? Not a deal breaker but something to consider. My son got a steak salad, which he orders everywhere, and it looked and apparently ate fantastically. He devoured it. We also got sides of asparagus with hollandaise, grown up mac, and mushrooms. All fantastic, the mushrooms for an individual portion were monstrous and able to he shared easily. Other sides were great, asparagus was awesome and huge!End of the meal came, and Nikki comes out with a giant placing of chocolate lava cake, and Happy Birthday wishes across the whole thing. Kids devoured it like vultures and said it was amazing.Whole experience start to finish was exceptional and a true testament to Pittsburgh Blue. My wife and I had been several times, but taking the kids for the first time was magic. Not sure it could have been more perfect and kids are all saying they want to come back for their birthdays.
