“I have been here twice now with my family and I love it. The sushi bar is amazing and the Korean barbecue is delicious as well! The service was very good, very friendly staff. My favorite was the crazy boy roll - Try it! It is not included in the all you can eat menu, but super worth it if you prefer rolls with cooked meat.“

“I had the tako yaki and the sashimi variety platter with a tuna roll and everything was soooooo good! Definitely would recommend to anybody who likes sushi. Just beware because everything had a nugget of Wasabi in it. I love wasabi but if you're not expecting it, it can hit you and their wasabi is pretty potent. The waitress/bartender is super nice and we chatted for a bit about the strongest man competition on the screen and shared some laughs, she's very nice. 5/5, will definitely come again.“

“Tried this place out last Friday before a show across the street at The Parkway. Bagu could easily get a five star rating from me by addressing a couple things, but is a solid 4+ as is. The good: the food is FANTASTIC. Every single thing we ordered was delicious and carefully prepared, and a couple things were simply transcendent. The rolls we had were the Mama, Shinjuku, Curry and the glorious Fuji. We also had very good pork egg rolls and fresh spring rolls as a starter. Our server was attentive and friendly, even though the place was packed and turning people away. Prices are a bit high, as they are everywhere in 2024, but the food I got was definitely worth what I paid, which has NOT been the case in too many recent dining experiences elsewhere. The less-good: While they've made a laudable effort with the decor and furnishings, the space itself is...quirky. Definitely a bit cramped, even in the front/main seating area. The corridor shared by the kitchen entrance and bathroom entrances, which also houses the hand washing sink, feels rather perilous. Also disappointing was the beverage selection; they are temporarily unable to serve alcohol, which is unfortunate but understandable, but they also had very minimal non-alcoholic offerings. Tea, water or sparkling water seemed to be the only choices available. The sparse beverage selection seems eminently fixable, though, and the space is functional if overly cozy. Bottom line: honestly, I'd stand at a counter outside in the rain just to eat those rolls again. As it was, my wife and I had a lovely meal here on our night out. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.“

“Honestly, I've never been there... but when an influence (@joshlilj) came in to buy a large order to feed the homeless, the restaurant decided to give the large order to him at no charge.
As someone who never thought I could be homeless, and yet here I am, right now... homeless... I can appreciate what this restaurant owner and the influencer did.
Even though it didn't affect me individually... in behalf of the homeless it did affect... Thank you.“

“This place is the AYCE I've been looking for in MN. The sushi is so fresh and the portions are great. I only did 1 round of orders. I usually don't order a bunch of rolls since nigiri is my go to. I did order the Spiderman roll to give it a try. The flavors were great, the food was beautifully presented, and the service was wonderful. The server was quick to communicate everything with me. I think most people who complain about the service don't savor their meals or have only been to tokyo sushi (and similar).
The ambiance and layout already tells me it's about quality and not pushing out fried food. The place was super clean and the music was perfect for the restaurant. The sushi chefs sliced per order and made sure my order was presentable and accurate. I'll definitely have to go back to try their ramen since a lot of people were ordering it. This is also one of the only places I've seen offering temaki "taco style" that I missed having in Seattle. *not for AYCE, I believe
If you're looking for thick cut nigiri, flavorful dishes and quality service, this place is for you. If you're looking for cheap thinly cut low quality sushi, 2minute premade mixes, you should go to those cheap AYCE places that are dimly lit so you can't see how dirty it is.“

“I ordered take out over the phone, and it was easy.
I ordered:
1 green river roll
1 salmon avocado roll
1 spicy tuna roll

The sushi wasn't amazing, but it was decent. The green river was my favorite. I liked the crunch of the shrimp tempura and seaweed salad. The eel sauce was tasty and balanced the flavors too.

The spicy tuna was ok. The spicy mayo had a good kick to it, which was great! It was a little bit on the dry side though, so maybe it could've used a touch more spicy mayo in the mixture. As for the salmon avocado, it was good.

I love when chefs use minimal rice when making sushi, because it makes it easier to taste all the other ingredients. New Fresh Wok sushi chefs did just that.

Overall, I liked the sushi and would order it from here again. I am also excited to try the other Chinese dishes!“

“This is my favorite place to grab lunch on the weekdays. Quick and easy ordering through a kiosk. Food comes out quite quickly. I highly recommend the volcano roll, it’s an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Very fresh fish, friendly staff, and the music makes you want to dance!! For non sushi eaters- they have chicken options, the bang bang chicken bowl is another favorite.“

“With a location on the second floor and the up escalator being out of service... getting there was a little tricky. Tables are a little too close together in spots, making it seem louder and more crowded than it really was. Service however was very good, and very quick to deliver drinks and food. Signature wild rice soup was slightly over salty, and was reminiscent of standard canned or frozen wild rice soup. For the cost, I kind of wanted and expected more. The starter salad was fantastic. It comes in two sizes and I went with the smaller plate - which was huge. Well balanced and delicious. I wish there would have been an option to add a protein but I'd get this again regardless. My companion had the smash burger which looked great, and the fries are pretty decent. Something tasted off however and unfortunately, smelled a bit off as well. (Came down to the cheese). They were very quick to replace the food (sans cheese) and I'm told the burger was much better. :). For a downtown restaurant the prices are pretty decent and they certainly have the timing down. Not my favorite but a solid choice“

Good food, but wasn't particularly memorable.

Firecracker Shrimp
Crunchy, soft and well-cooked. Sauce was like orange chicken but spicier and tangier. Came out a bit cool since I timed it with my entrée. Good if you want salty-sweet shrimp, but I wouldn't reorder.

Margherita Sushi
A fun twist with lime and Tajín! Tart and savory. Enjoyable, but a one-time try.

Chicken Wings
Crispy, flavorful, and a great size. Juicy meat, cooked perfectly. A definite reorder.

Smoked Manhattan
Smoky, smooth, and delicious. The "crave" ice cube was a cool detail.“

The food was fresh and hot! lots of choices, including pizza and chicken nuggets for the kitties. the food was very good! our bill came to 35.33 for three adult buffets. we all did drink water so I'm not sure if beverages are included. the service was good too!
