“This place is a solid dive bar that takes you right back to the '70s. It's not fancy, just good drinks at great prices. The place is super relaxed, and the crowd is friendly and laid-back. It’s in the heart of downtown. This bar is an adults type place, though—wouldn't recommend bring the kids. If you're looking for a no-frills spot to grab a drink and relax, this is it. Highly recommend!“

“I passed this establishment many times and decided to try it Sunday. The restaurant is very nice looking outside and inside. The host was pleasant. Service was fast and served in a timely manner within 20 minutes. My food was very good, I had the chicken sandwich melt. One thing I was ever offered a refill on my drink. Overall it was a great lunch.“

“First and only visit w/ a friend. Friendly service, though I cannot speak to the quality of mixed drinks or beer selection since I'm sober and just ordered a juice and water. Slow night, which was much more my vibe. Very clean establishment on my visit. Definitely preferable to the 617 bar. Don't go there. Come here instead. WB Bar has more space, they have pool tables, AND the beautiful bartender is far more polite to those who are new and aren't looking to be treated like an out of towner when they are in fact more local than some of these other snobs! 🤓☮️“

“The Country Lounge has cheap drinks and they make a great Bloody Mary! They have pull tabs, a pool table, and a TouchTunes player. It’s definitely a dive bar, but it’s always a lot of fun! You can order Heggie’s pizza here, which are pretty tasty.“

“I just have to share my experience at The Doghouse Bar & Grill! I visited back in November to watch The HYPE, and wow, what an amazing venue. It was hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to, and I can’t thank the staff enough for making it such a memorable time. I was in town celebrating my last week up north before heading off to the National American Miss nationals, and let me tell you, being there was a huge stress reliever during a time that’s normally pretty hectic for me. Nationals can be a lot to manage, and being at The Doghouse helped take my mind off the nerves and truly enjoy the moment. From the moment I walked in, the staff and everyone around made me feel so welcomed. There’s something about a place that has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and The Doghouse absolutely has that. It’s not just about the great food, drinks, and entertainment—it’s about the people too. They were all incredibly kind and made my experience that much better. It’s definitely a spot that holds a special place in my heart now! As Miss Wisconsin Covergirl, I’m thrilled to be back in April. I’m counting down the days, and the timing is perfect because, as many of you know, National American Miss State pageant is in June, so this will be the perfect way to relax and recharge before the next big step in my journey. I’m looking forward to making more memories at The Doghouse Bar & Grill and I can’t wait to visit again soon! If you haven’t been there yet, trust me, it’s a must! “Low key, laid back, relaxed atmosphere. Staff is friendly, though there are few staff. We have gone there numerous times. Pretty good food. This was our 1st time not ordering a pizza. Salad was good. Meatball sandwich was not bad but not great. We enjoy coming here. Older crowd with fun music, meat raffle and Bingo nights.

She went above and beyond, sharing her favorites and suggesting delightful pairings that enhanced our meal. Angela’s warm personality and genuine care made us feel like we were the most important guests in the restaurant.
We decided to try the Cuban sandwich, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The combination of flavors was harmonious, with perfectly grilled bread and succulent fillings that danced on our taste buds.

“I work here and it's the best golf course in Minnesota in my opinion the course is very easy to follow the staff is exceptional, it's really clean, and the atmosphere is amazin. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a member because it's a private course.“

“wally sandwich was full of bones. they asked if i wanted something else, i said a burger. that came after everyone I was there with were almost done with meal. my burger had blood sitting on top. I cut into raw meat. sent back due to i dont eat raw burger ever. other in our party were finishing up meals. i got my burger. they diďnt offer to replace my french fries that were very cold by now. I was so upset. they charged us the price of the wally sandwich instead of the burger that was less. that topped it. i won't be back unless they take things seriously! contact me!!! why didnt they take anything off our bill due to the issues??? we had 3 couples for supper with drinks and appetizers! we put lots of money down that day.“
