“Our family had a great experience dining at Jac's in Chatfield. A beautiful building with large windows in the front. The food was spectacular. We ordered the delicious fresh in- house, hand battered cheese curds as an appetizer with a side of the specially made sweet chili dip- amazing! Every person at our table throughly enjoyed their meals. The food is well seasoned, flavorful with ample size portions. Our server, Ariel, was kind and attentive to our table of eight. We all look forward to coming back and trying more of the appetizers and entrees!“

“Well I personally can't eat the Mexican food. But everyone I talk to says it's great my husband loves it too. I've had the cheeseburger and that was good. There a lot on the menu and always a different special. They also have a selection of hard ice cream. The service was pleasant, we didn't wait very long. The decor was nice, pleasant to look at and discuss while we ate.“
“This is a dandy little truck stop. Unfortunately, due to water run off, the restaurant is closed. According to Pops, the owner's Dad, some heavy rains got into the basement, where the restaurant is located. Of course, the insurance company refused to pay .How the insurance company justifies this withholding of a claim pay is not right. The place is NOT in a flood plain and thus, " flood insurance" is not required. I hope the owner will perhaps run this issue past a lawyer who deals in such matters specifically; a general practicing lawyer who takes all sorts of cases, to keep his lights on, would not be a good choice.“

“Biking 12 miles from Lanesboro to Fountain, we stopped at the Village Square. Got there 10 minutes before it opened and one person was already waiting to get pie to go. When the doors opened at 11:00 there were 7 more locals waiting. The warm and comfortable dining area had four tables occupied. All of whom got the daily lunch special which looked delicious. We were there for coffee and pie. There was a young gal running the front of house and she was fantastic serving tables and taking to go orders. The coffee was delicious and the strawberry rhubarb pie was amazing! By the way, all the wood dining chairs had comfy seat cushions which was appreciated by this bicyclist. Highly recommend this gem in Fountain.“

“Super busy, parking lot was full. Once inside, you could tell it was a local favorite. Bit of a wait, but to be expected as they are busy. Great food! Great service! Great locals (have fun with them)! Apparently Wednesday night is the best local crowd ?!“

“Came here with a friend on our way back up to the Twin Cities and we were able to catch breakfast before they closed for the day. I got the Wooner with a side of a pancake and I thought I might've ordered too much once I saw how big the pancake was. I was able to finish it all and it was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time.My friend got the Dave and he remarked on how great the sausage links were. Top all of that off with the tremendous service we received and we were more than fortunate to grab a bite here. Easy 5 stars from me!“
