“Finally tried out northbound smokehouse and it did not disappoint! They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area great for when weather permits! (Picnic tables outside on the patio) There are plenty of drink options from beer, cocktails, wines, to non alcoholic. I ordered the cider sidecar (7/10) and tried one of the IPAs (8/10) and thought both were pretty good. For food we got smoked wings (sweet and spicy 7/10) and cheese curds (8/10). For my main meal I got the brisket grilled cheese which was delicious! (9/10) Our server was very tentative and our food came out timely! I will be returning in the future!“

“My friends and I stumbled into this restaurant when Up Down was too packed to enjoy. It happened to be my birthday weekend so I was open to trying something new. I absolutely loved our waiter. He wasn't pushy, had a sake bomb with us, was super nice and funny, and introduced me to the Peach Cosmopolitan. YUMMY! The food was delicious and the dessert was exceptional! Will definitely be back for more!The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because when we first walked in, I told them how many people (3), and no one said anything to me. No, "it'll be a few minutes but please have a seat" or even mentioning the fact that there were people waiting ahead of us. We stood awkwardly in front of them but eventually moved to the side when we realized we wouldn't be seated right away. We almost walked out after waiting 10 minutes but were called to be seated as we were about to Google another spot.“

Overall, the food was good and flavorful. The staff was helpful on the phone with questions regarding their menu. The restaurant itself was small. There were six tables that seated 2-4 people. “We came here tonight for my dad's 69th birthday. We really enjoyed the food and the service. The pork ribs and wings were especially great, and our server was awesome. The fat cap on the pork rips gave a solid bacon vibe, and they were still very juicy. I will definitely be returning.“

“I can't wait to go back!! The aroma in the parking lot will send you running in. It was our first time here. We both ordered pulled pork sandwiches and they were soooo delicious and on point: moist tender smoky meat on a grilled brioche bun. So top notch. The bbq sauces are out of this world! I'm buying bottles next time. The cole slaw was very good as well as the mac n cheese. Person taking our order was very friendly and efficient. Only thing I noticed is I think they need more space as its kind of small there and was hoppin and pretty crowded at lunchtime.“

“Hmmm… pretty good. Ribfest offerings were aplenty and the pricing was quite fair. I really liked the mac n chz. However the ribs themselves were very small and therefore dry. The pickled things on the side were an absolute withered joke. Got all three sauces and they all tasted the same (seriously? No white BBQ??) I much prefer the juicy ribs from Boomin. But Boomin and Animales both used frozen corn in their elote salads. Serious question, do you guys think the public is braindead? My first bite was literally still-thawing corn with Parmesan flavor. Dilly beans and banana pudding get full marks. Biscuits definitely needed salt. But seriously. Get it together where it counts guysEdit to respond. “was a bit worried after reading a few 1 or 2 star reviews but 3 beef ribs I had were very smokey and tender yet chewy. ribs came with sauce already, more of sticky type than runny but goes well with smokey ribs. I liked side toasts with some cheddar sauce on 'em and lightly cajun fries. without knowing I stood and waited for about 30 mins or so (no chair and area's kinda dark) but food was worth the wait. Amos allows call-in so next time Imma call in to try other stuff!“
