“Laura is amazing and her energy is so nice and she is so kind! I felt kinda bad for her because the gal she was working with had such a sour attitude. Anyways I didn’t realize that the drink I ordered normally comes cold and when I questioned it, Laura was more than happy to remake it the way I wanted and just let me know in such a kind way that moving forward I need to request for it to be hot. My drink was delicious too!“

“I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks in my life, and none of them compare to the experience I had at Southdale! Everyone is so friendly that I felt like I could stand there for hours just chatting. After I got my order (probably the quickest out of any Starbucks I’ve ever been to), I decided to sit at the little dining area at the end of the counter. I was only there for, like, fifteen minutes and I was FLABBERGASTED by how horrible so-called “adults” act when they’re ordering coffee!! There was a guy yelling that they put cream in his coffee instead of putting it on the side. The barista apologized and offered to make him another. He wasn’t having any of it. He just kept going on and on about how they “should’ve known” and they “don’t know how much cream he wants.” The barista, again, apologized and offered to get him a new one. He took it and stormed away. During that guy’s little tantrum, the group behind him made their way down to the pick up counter. I guess they ordered a lot of food because it was taking the other barista a minute to gather it all. The next lady in line was absolutely not having it. She kept yelling, “Hey! Can you come take my order? I only want one thing!” The barista told her they’d be with her in just a moment, but she just kept repeating that she only wanted one thing. When she finally placed her order, she was ranting about how waiting was unacceptable and her entire order should be free. I say entire order because the “one thing” she wanted happened to be eight highly customized drinks. She kept ranting while she waited on her massive order, so I left to finish my drink elsewhere. All of this happened in the ten minutes I was there, so I can only imagine how horrible people treat these baristas on a daily basis. They all deserve a Medal of Honor.“

“I walked into Starbucks before my long day and the drinks always taste the same- that’s not why I’m writing this… while other employees were standing around chatting, Nikki was working her butt off. I am from out of town and don’t frequent the area. I was impressed with not only her work ethic but she did it all with a smile on her face. S/O Nikki“

“Very clean and streamlined atmosphere and the store was quiet! Nice vibe. The server was nothing extraordinary, just took the order. That’s nothing negative though. The drinks were pretty bad actually, with my pumpkin spice latte having little to no pumpkin flavoring. Overall a pretty nice store though.“

“We regularly go to the Starbucks store on Industrial blvd in Edina. The people serving us have been fantastic. The store is for some reason going through a change of management and employees. The store already has been well above average. Yesterday when I arrived, the drive through was closed due to headphone issues. I went in the store to find just two employees taking care of a deluge of orders. The wait for many was too much. Hopefully new management will fix the staffing shortage. The best part of yesterday was the supervisor Amber and the person working with her. Amber was incredible the way she handled the pressure and the clients. It was just before 8 AM and the customer pressure was enormous. Amber kept smiling while working hard to take care of people and managing what could have been chaos in an impressive manner. We have been Starbucks customers for many, many years. Hopefully Amber will remain with our favorite store. I really doubt that Starbucks has a better store supervisor anywhere. Thanks Amber!!!!“

“Still a good place for our coffee fix and Frappuccino fix!

The strawberry matcha Frappuccino is awesome! Highly recommended if you want to try a new drink.

Friendly team at this location and accurate with our order, believe me, there's two other Starbucks within driving distance from our house and this location has always been on point and friendly. No mistakes in our orders.

A good place to meet friends or just work quietly, they won't kick you out. As long as you're also polite and neat around your space.“
