“Great first experience!! Ron let me sample sauces, loved ALL of them. He even brought me a boneless chicken wing sample with sweet honey sauce and it was incredible. I went with classic medium buffalo and it was wonderful but I look forward to trying them all in the next couple months. Thai Chili & Mango Habanero were 🔥. Combo came with fries, 5 wings, dipping sauce and a soda all around $12, which I thought was pretty reasonable especially the quality & size of bone-in wings and fresh cut fries! Will be back.“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. Food: Gorgeous/amazing presentation , fresh, hot, professionally packed. I ordered from Red Rabbit in Saint Paul for my work holiday party. Everyone LOVED the food and the portions are generous. “They have great food with tons of vegan options and a wonderful patio! Today I ordered my favorite dish a roti wrap and it accidentally came with chicken instead of the vegan chickpea version. That’s never happened to me there before. They felt really bad about it and made me a new one and comped my meal and that of my friend. That is above and beyond an excellent customer service. “Very no frills layout to the restaurant which I love because the focus stays on the incredible food. We tried several of the small plates and also an entree each. The service was fantastic, our server explained everything to us in detail and with enthusiasm which added to the excitement of the experience. The drinks were not only delicious but also very balanced. I would say that's a theme of the restaurant, great balance. I felt like the flavors for everything we had, from the charred shishito peppers with bonito flakes to the dungenous crab fettuccine, was very evenly balanced and everything complimented the other flavors well. This is definitely in the top 3 restaurants I've tried in Minneapolis so far. Highly recommended.“

The beer is so flavorful and feels good to drink. The pollinator friendly gardens and rain garden are lovely additions to the location and make the experience delightful. “My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

“Amazing location on Bassett Creek. Wildlife is insane. Snowy egret, muskrat, dragonflies everywhere, red wing blackbirds chasing a red tail hawk into a tree. Locals completely oblivious to the wonders and awes of nature all around them. Because they get to see it every day, well, at least in the summer.“

“Likes: the beer, the location, and the ethos. I tried the Tokki rice lager and the Bee Sting vanila honey cream ale; they both tasted great. Tokki = delicate, Bee Sting (inspired by the German Bienenstich cake) is sweet. Moon Palace Books is next door, so you can browse, purchase, and read your new find with a beer if you so desire. Lots of space -- there's a main level indoors, and a second indoor level (though that was reserved on my visit) and a patio out back next to the parking lot. The intersection of Minnehaha and Lake Street has a lot going on. I like that they not only have a land acknowledgment on their website but also mention the indigenous organizations they work with. Putting one's money where one's mouth is. I also like the name, Arbeiter, which places the rights of the worker front and center.

Dislikes: Surprise music. My book club had a meeting there and we had to sit outside because we wouldn't have been able to hear each other over the live music indoors. It was just barely warm enough to be outside in the evening. I am now wondering whether this is an every-night thing or an occasional thing. It wasn't on the events calendar so no way to avoid.
