“I LOVE this place. The staff are so incredibly nice they're always so bright every time I go in. Their fish is so fresh, I get the salmon sashimi and it is buttery, not fishy at all, their rolls always have a ton of filling they don't mostly fill it with rice, overall amazing. They're tucked away in a hallway so they don't get a lot of foot traffic. If you're thinking about eating here please do! It's my favorite place in Dinkytown and I'd love for them to stay open with great business!“

“Visited Sunday 2/8. Everything was delicious. Great, friendly service. We got the green curry w/ chicken, pad thai w/ shrimp, steak laab, and sushi platter, plus a couple happy hour apps (5-6:30pm weeknights) and coffees to-go for Monday morning. Would order any and all dishes again. Looking forward to coming back for lunch sometime soon! Love having a sushi spot in the neighborhood.“

Me and my son came in for lunch; drinks were great food was good (my bad i mis-ordered a roll)
but despite this our server was extremely on point the entire time -yea good food is getting more expensive - yea good service is getting more rare.

check this place out for sure!! if you are in town and don’t mind the mall’s hospitality fee (tourism fee anywhere else)

“Reasonably priced all-you-can-eat buffet! The menu features sashimi, hand rolls, fried dishes, various noodles and various other dish.

Been here many times and always have a good experience. You order the dishes you want and they bring them out.

We like to order 3-4 times during our meal. Sashimi is our favorite and we order around 20 pieces at a time. Our favorite roll is the spider roll with the soft crab.

We get a reservation when we have 6 or more. With a smaller group we have had to wait for 10-30 minutes, nothing unreasonable.“

“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !! They were randomly closed on a Wednesday, which is fine, however their website DID NOT provide this information ! I ordered my food, they took my money, and the confirmation said that the pick up would be the following day . So I went to the location to see what was going on and that's when I saw the sign in the window claiming they were closed . They have NO option to cancel your order once you've made it so I had to wait to the following day to call . They refuse to refund me my money - I'm only in office one day a week , I'm not driving 35 minutes to pick up food that I wanted the day before ! Whoever answered the phone kept talking over me and cutting me off , she admitted that they don't have a way to cancel an order once it's made (which is ridiculous, I could've just canceled it that day and we wouldn't be in this situation ) I explained to her over and over again that their website DID NOT state that they were closed but she didn't care ! Long story short they got $20 out of me and lost a customer for life !“

The food is good but the main reason I come here is because of Johnny. He’s a great guy and provides amazing service. He adds the personal touch.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Johnny for at least six years and hope to see him for many, many more.

“Food is always great. I have 3 boys that can eat a lot so we do the buffet. The atmosphere is a little off. There is super bright lights that sort of shine in your face over by the bathroom but then it’s so dark at the table. No over head lighting really. The bathrooms are yikes, pretty gross and the floors are so sticky. But the staff is very nice, and food is good. Not high end but fine.“

“I needed a treat, and did I ever get one in my bag of takeout tonight from Midori’s Floating World Cafe (in their temporary Seward Cafe location). The dumplings, entrees, and dessert were exquisitely prepared, with flavorful sauces and broths. Glad I splurged on the Daifuku: it was a little work of edible art. “I can’t believe no one has reviewed this place or that it took me years to finally go here. Their All-you-can-eat-sushi is AMAZING. I went there for dinner with a friend and it was only $29. I actually felt like I was taking advantage of the place. The menu includes so many options; the rolls looked beautiful and tasted even better. The sashimi pieces were large and delicious. The fish all tased very fresh. It wasn’t terribly busy but our server Lulu checked up on us just as we were finishing our serving to see what else we wanted so there was a steady stream of food coming our way. She was very friendly and happy to answer questions. You do have to finish your servings though. Like, it is actually policy. Not a problem, though. No fish gets left behind! If you love sushi then you really need to come to Samurai. I have tried almost every place around and this has been one of, if not THE best of them all and easily top of the list for the price!“

“This is my favorite place to grab lunch on the weekdays. Quick and easy ordering through a kiosk. Food comes out quite quickly. I highly recommend the volcano roll, it’s an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Very fresh fish, friendly staff, and the music makes you want to dance!! For non sushi eaters- they have chicken options, the bang bang chicken bowl is another favorite.“
