“We took an after work boat cruise. Wonderful food was set out buffet style and there was a bar for the thirsty ones. We had a great time seeing people we work with outside of the shop. Glad I brought a jacket as when the sun dipped, it got chilly. Parking was a little sticky but we got on the boat on time!“

“This is one of our favorite places, we make sure to come every month for the bloody of the month. Today I had the breakfast tacos and old fashion, amazing food and drinks. “I don't normally write reviews unless I get bad service. But I find this Perkins in Maple Grove MN to be Awesome. This is my families Perkins of choice passing by two others much closer Perkins just to go to the Maple Grove location. Our server Taylor was attentive, polite and very in tune to our groups needs. She is and example of what a waitress or waiter should be. The food was great and the building / bathroom cleanliness was expletory. My hats off to the manager and staff of the Maple Grove Perkins just south of 694 on Hemlock Lane.“

“Our two visits to Layline have both been excellent. Enthusiastic servers and terrific food. Our favorite menu item has been the Watermelon salad. We had it on both visits and it was extraordinary both times.
We've enjoyed the Bywater Burger, Chicken Sandwich, Pork Chop and the Sea Bass. All were terrific. Duck fat fries also fantastic. We will definitely be back for more.“

“The lobster roll was fantastic and definitely the highlight of the meal. The oysters on the other hand weren’t as good as I’d hoped. The truffle oil fries were delicious! It was raining when we went, so we didn’t get to sit on the patio, but I’d love to come back and check it out another time.“

“Well, let's see. I thought it was going to be like a sit-down, relax restaurant. Take your time. Might take a little while for your food to come out. Our server, Ashley, was nice. Quick to come take our order, quick to offer a refill when the beverage ran out. Our meals came out so quickly, though. It felt like not even 20 minutes went by after we placed the order and BAM meals arrive. They must've read my order incorrectly. I said no bleu cheese and it came out with bleu cheese. They brought it back and then like 20 minutes later, brought me a new plate. It looked like they just scraped the side dishes from the original plate to the new plate. They were cold where the extra butter I ordered didn't even melt. The waffle fries on my wife's plate, in my opinion, were cold or old. Wife said they were fine. Service was great! Ashley provided a little discount since they messed up my order. Food on the other hand, felt more like a quick service restaurant versus a sit-down, relax restaurant. No offers for dessert. I didn't even see a dessert menu or on the main menu. This really wasn't the best experience, but not the worst experience. I only recommend Clive's because Ashley was so quick and friendly. For the rest, no I would NOT recommend Clive's.“

“We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! Wonderful blueberry rice sausages, eggs, pancakes, taco salad, hot tea, coffee, French toast, hashbrowns, English muffins, toast, and more! The decor is adorable! We're so lucky to have found this little cafe as we're from all around the US here for a wedding. It seems to be a local favorite as it was packed! Younger generations and older and everywhere in between! THE go to place if you live in the area or if you're just visiting! You won't be disappointed! The "cottages" are wonderful even though there is downsizing to get done. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The food is great - besides the 'every day menu," there are specials for lunch and dinner. The menu is quite varied with chicken, beef/veal, pork, turkey and vegetarian.“

They were dine but I was perplexed with the sides of lettuce, tomatoes, etc...that more like salad components. They certainly couldn't be added to the quesadillas easily. I asked for some ranch dressing and made a side salad. Some tortilla chips and or some frioles would have been a better accompaniment. Sam, our server was an absolute delight. Give that young man a raise. Atmosphere was quiet and we could converse easily.“

“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“
