“My friends, family and I visit the River Inn often. We just visited it again Labor Day Weekend 2026. Once again, we were impressed. They present great food, the Staff is friendly and helpful and, it looks like they have expanded/remodeled. I like their outdoor serving facilities and waiting courts. It's awesome and ingeniouse!“

A really cute place, clean, nice outdoor seating area and super friendly staff. We both had the Walleye dinner. Wow, it was the Best Walleye I’ve ever had !! Compares to ; Grandma’s in Duluth. Finally a place near us that’s Fabulous!! Everything people ordered around us also looked super tasty !! My friend agreed & said Whenever I come home, we’re going here!! “We used POUR Wine and Bistro for our rehearsal dinner and we were very pleased! We have been going here for years and can’t recommend them enough. Unique food and drinks, avocado wontons and the filet mignon with cheesy potatoes is my must haves. I love that when you are done eating you can bop across the street to the POUR Cocktail Bar for drinks and good conversation! We love POUR and we will always recommend.“

“We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! Wonderful blueberry rice sausages, eggs, pancakes, taco salad, hot tea, coffee, French toast, hashbrowns, English muffins, toast, and more! The decor is adorable! We're so lucky to have found this little cafe as we're from all around the US here for a wedding. It seems to be a local favorite as it was packed! Younger generations and older and everywhere in between! THE go to place if you live in the area or if you're just visiting! You won't be disappointed! “We hosted our daughter’s ceremony in Medina Entertainment center, and the service and coordination were exceptional. Everything was perfectly planned and executed just as we had requested. The ceremony went smoothly, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. The event coordinator Christy, bar server, and food server all did an outstanding job. “Friends who live in the area took me out for dinner at Roberts. I selected a starter for my meal as I wasn't that hungry. Ordered the quesadillas. They were dine but I was perplexed with the sides of lettuce, tomatoes, etc...that more like salad components. They certainly couldn't be added to the quesadillas easily. I asked for some ranch dressing and made a side salad. Some tortilla chips and or some frioles would have been a better accompaniment. Sam, our server was an absolute delight. Give that young man a raise. Atmosphere was quiet and we could converse easily.“

“A friend and I went to Rockwoods last night for dinner. Our server, Robert, was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. We had 2 appetizers, the smoked salmon dip and the hot honey roasted brussel sprouts, both were delicious and highly recommended. My friend had chicken marsala, that she really liked. I had the beef pot roast, which was okay. I took two stars off as the meat was dry. Despite that, it was a good experience at Rockwoods.“

“This is hands down THE BEST place to eat! I have a special needs ( Autistic, ADHD, vision impaired) grandchild and she requests this Culvers daily. We have tried others ( The St Cloud location made us leave because of her excited squeals) but the way the entire staff treats her and the rest of us when we walk through that door in Monticello is OUTSTANDING!! They can see if she's having a tough day and they go above and beyond to accommodate us. I have NEVER taken her anywhere else in Monticello that has accepted her the way Culvers staff has. They are always polite, fast and very welcoming. I don't know all of their names but Anthony and Chad are two of her favorite people. The manager is wonderful! When my bill fold got left behind she worked hard to reach out and get it back to me, she went above and beyond and I can't tell you how very much that ment to me. We don't feel like customers, we feel like family. The staff never seems crabby or like you are a burden, they really seem to enjoy their job. That speaks volumes about management. We cannot say enough good things about the staff 😃 Thank you Monticello Culvers for accepting my Granddaughter for who she is ❤️“

“We reserved a party room for a small business event. Deb was very easy to work with and Michelle was helpful when I had questions and Deb wasn't available. Their rates were incredibly reasonable. The flexibility was hard to beat! When we arrived, Mike and Deb were great about making sure we had what we needed. We had 2 servers- mine was Emily and she was very on top of things. The food was good and the drinks were good- I heard no complaints from any of our guests about the food, drinks or service. Kudos to the kitchen for pace and standard. Also, the room afforded a lot of space and a great deal of privacy from the rest of the bar which was perfect for us. Overall, I wish every venue was as great as this one! Thanks Liberty crew!“

“My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Applebee’s in Monticello, Minnesota last Friday night. We hadn’t been there in quite a while, not because of anything negative, but simply because it’s a little farther for us to drive.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly and welcoming host. Our waitress was wonderful, kind, attentive, and very efficient. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely fantastic.

It was great to be reminded what a positive dining experience feels like. Thank you to the entire team for making our evening enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Inside the bar there is music playing with dart boards and lots of places to sit and outside there are a variety of volleyball courts , and outdoor bar with swings to sit at surrounding the bar and also music outside . This place is busy all the time !“
