“Reeeeeeeally wanted to give this 5 stars. Knocking off a star because both my friend and I got food poisoning after eating and this was the only meal we shared that day. Will give this another chance in the future and revise.

Service is stellar. Like seriously. We didn't have a reservation but they were still able to accomodate us at peak dinner time. Very patient in explaining their menu. Checked on us frequently, changed our plates with clean ones after every round, cleaned any spills on our table, always seemed to bring out the next course piping hot just as we finished the last one.

Food tasted phenomenal. I wanted to order literally everything on the menu. The gnocchi poutine was definitely the most unique. Restaurants usually skimp on desserts but not here - make sure to check it out. Price wasn't even that bad considering how amazing the food was and how stuffed we were afterwards.

Street parking. Location is a little odd being right under an apartment complex.

Definitely coming back, but I would be supremely disappointed if I get sick again.”

“Milly’s is an absolute gem in Minneapolis! The wine selection is impressive, with a great variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that catered perfectly to our group. “Strawberry coconut dream is quite sweet definitely a good balance of coconut and strawberry flavors (heavily). Tacos are on the larger quantity side. Sesame Chicken taco is crispy, tangy, with a good kick of spice. Al pastor taco is good, tangy with the bit of pineapple. Carnitas taco is very savory and juicy. The corn tortillas are nice and soft. Definitely have the sesame last because it overwhelms the other flavors. The sweet corn cake is super soft, a very light cornbread flavor. Elote is good, simple and yummy.”

“Hyacinth is a keeper. Creative food, well prepared, small but extremely well chosen wines. Portions were large, a bit too large in my view. Hyacinth is one of the few restaurants in the post Covid dining world that is daring to show us how innovative dining can be done.”
