“Just moved to Hugo, was excited to finally have a dairy and gluten free burger place for my wife. Really affordable pricing compared to the cities, and bigger than average portions if you like that sort of thing. Everytime I've eaten there or gotten take out we have enjoyed it and the service is top notch. “Amazing food. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and was impressed with the flavor. Not over or under cooked and full of flavor. The restaurant gives you cheese bread and with the main entree, garlic bread. Both prepared and executed perfectly. My co driver order the raspberry cheesecake and said it was amazing. Looked very fancy and gourmet. Also the waitresses are very cute. Excellent environment, service and food. Very recommended and will be back.“

“We love this place! It's a perfect hybrid of casual or classy dining, and everything that we've tried on the menu has always been delicious. Comfy seating, fast service, and healthy + delicious food make this an easy choice for regular visits. MUST-TRY FAVORITES: grilled brussels and bacon, ahi tuna, smoke stack burger, fish tacos, pan-fried walleye, and sweet potato fries. I regularly get the brussels as an appetizer and the ahi tuna [appetizer] as my meal.MENU UPDATE: They recently added birria tacos, which have roasted shredded beef and light-spicy, au jus-like sauce for dipping. (As of Feb 24, 2024, the website menu hasn't been updated yet.)The parking lot is very large. If parking spots only remain on the far left (west) edge row, don't worry, that means there's still a few tables open in main dining and lots open in the overflow space. If the left edge row is full, then the inside is pretty busy. Management does a fabulous job with balancing staffing because even if it's very busy, we've always been promptly seated and served. Accessibility is friendly for disabled or injured folks with flat surfaces all on the main level.If you come on a Friday or Saturday, I recommend a reservation, but it's not required. There are technically 4 seating areas -- bar (with TVs), main dining (fireplace and golf course views), overflow dining (cooler temps), and the seasonal outdoor patio. The bar and main dining area both have booths and tables with cushioned chairs. (The "cushioned" chair aspect is important for me since I have back issues.) The bar atmosphere is open and naturally louder. You can request a *tall* booth in the main dining area if you want more privacy.Service has always been very friendly and prompt. (Special shout out to the server Talon, who just last night ran my forgotten purse all the way out to me in the parking lot. Thank you!)The menu has diverse options from dry-rub chicken wings and burgers to pastas and chicken/steak/fish entrees. There are multiple options for gluten-free, keto, or vegetarian diners. They also have a wide selection of wine and drinks.There is a kids menu, but I don't think of this as a typical place to bring young kids. If your kids are hard to wrangle or like moving around while dining out, a table in the overflow dining space could work out.If you're unsure about Stella's, just go! You won't be disappointed.“

“You can tell there is a lot of history within the walls of this restaurant and it was packed with locals so that's always a good sign to me. Our waitress was prompt with taking our order, and following up with us later for refills, etc. My husband went with the chicken taco salad and I had the log jammer plate. The shell on the taco salad was nice and crisp and the meat had great seasoning and was moist. My log jammer sandwich was the best prime rib sandwich I had in quite some time, both in the meat being tender & flavorful, as well as the fact that they weren't stingy with the prime rib. The french fries on the side were crisped to perfection.“

“First trip to Little Canada's Porterhouse, and I can say it was perfect. The drinks on point, the appetizers prefect, and the main course of steaks and king crab legs was also perfect. Dessert was also delicious and a great way to cap off a fantastic meal.We've long eaten at the Lakeville location, ( which is close to our house) which has always been excellent, best place in Lakeville to eat, and it's not surprising, but this location held the same exact standards of excellence.Out with a good friend tonight so we skipped pictures.“

“We ate on the 2nd floor balcony tonight and everything was absolutely amazing! We were greeted the second we walked thru the doors, given advice on the best pace to sit, and our server, Thomas, was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We ordered the wagyu steak and butternut risotto with blue crab cakes and Caesar salad to start. The food was perfect! The service was incredible, at the atmosphere was homey and romantic at the same time. 10/10 will recommend and we will be back!!“

“Upscale environment on the main level of new apartment buildings. Parking is inside or behind the apartments, with the center rows reserved for Oliver's. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came out quick. I didn't love the seasoning sprinkled on top but otherwise thought the pizza was good. Depending on your seats, you can watch your pizza being cooked. Service was great. Prices are in line with the atmosphere.“

“It's a very open bar and they have some TV's to watch sports. They had a band playing the night I was there and it's nice that they have bands. There is room to dance if a band is playing. The food was good, comparable to most bar food. It's wheelchair accessible. They had a cover charge when the band played. Definitely a fun place!“

“Have the bull bite appetizer it was amazing. I had the Prime rib med rare. It was Perfectly cooked. The green beans were yummy. My husband had the 5 piece fish fry. He said it was very good. The loaded Brussel sprouts are unbelievable, and the Reuben is actually a chunk of roasted corned beef that brings this tasty sandwich to a whole new level. “Love this place for grabbing a drink and having that small town feel, also very cheap!The only thing that I’ve noticed is that sometimes it feels like the regulars are prioritized.. when I’m standing in line for a drink just to grab two more canned beers.. but it takes almost 10 minutes cause the bartender is chit chatting with everybody at the bar, it felt odd.. but nonetheless, we come here regularly.“

“Went for our anniversary. Absolutely loved it. Servers were all personable and knew the menu. The sushi was great, my bourbon 7's were perfect. My wife had their Yuzu whiskey sour which she says was the best drink she's ever had (and we've been married 28 years). I knew going in I was going to need to stock up the checkbook. Zero buyers remorse. Will definitely return.“

“I work here and it's the best golf course in Minnesota in my opinion the course is very easy to follow the staff is exceptional, it's really clean, and the atmosphere is amazin. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a member because it's a private course.“

“It's surprisingly large. Even if the lot looks full, chances are good that you can get a table immediately. Service is always good, and they've got great specials. Especially happy hour! It's a great place to grab a burger or a couple tacos, and their chili is awesome. The biggest surprise was the salads, though. I didn't expect them to be that good at a bar & grill type place. “The Country Lounge has cheap drinks and they make a great Bloody Mary! They have pull tabs, a pool table, and a TouchTunes player. It’s definitely a dive bar, but it’s always a lot of fun! You can order Heggie’s pizza here, which are pretty tasty.“

“White Bear Bar gets a bad reputation because they try to keep order and riff raff out. This game is beyond difficult! I really like Angie the bartender and all the waitresses are gorgeous and offer good service even during adverse times and bad customers. Pool is always fun and trivia. No decent food but free popcorn n pizza but its a bar not a restaurant. Security is always really good and I've never seen any conflict not get resolved promptly. People whine about getting kicked out, these arw the people that cause issues and i appreciate this. Always has good beer.“

“Went with the ladies for Coach purse bingo. Fun concept and it was a really fun night. The sound system for bingo was pretty terrible when we were there, so it was very hard to hear. If they do bingo often, I would hope that they've fixed that issue. Ample parking.“
