“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“I walked over to The King’s House for lunch while getting my motorcycle tuned up at Davis Motorsports just down the street. I got one of their specials, the taco salad with chicken. It was among the best taco salads I’ve had. I especially enjoyed the burst of flavor from the fresh cherry tomatoes generously embedded in the salad. The shell is clearly home made, as is the unique sauce. The seasoning and herbs on the chicken were also perfect. Everything was very fresh. The presentation was excellent. Their ice tea is clearly brewed fresh too. I went ahead and had a mojito for desert and found it well crafted and refreshing on a July afternoon.

My server was professional and personable.

The place wasn’t very busy at lunch time. But I got the impression their busy time is evenings. Tables are nicely spaced. They have outdoor dining. Ample free parking in their dedicated lot. I enjoyed their playlist as I ate - a diverse mix of mostly alternative soft rock. I was pleased that they didn’t have any distracting TVs in the restaurant.

Everything is accessible to wheelchairs.

Kid-friendliness: Wooden tables and chairs, concrete floor - nothing fancy about the space - but everything is clean and comfortable. It would be an welcoming place to bring the whole family.

“I moved in earlier than I planned because there wa no reason not too. I am very happy at The Waters and so glad I made the move. The "cottages" are wonderful even though there is downsizing to get done. The staff is very helpful and cheerful. The food is great - besides the 'every day menu," there are specials for lunch and dinner. The menu is quite varied with chicken, beef/veal, pork, turkey and vegetarian.“

“Last night, we held a real estate client party at Rush Creek and the entire event was perfectly executed. From the initial meeting a few weeks earlier to the final guest walking out, it was a wonderful evening. Great food, craft cocktails and dedicated servers who were outstanding. Loved how management checked in to ensure everything was flowing well and to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Rush Creek for any event you and your organization/wedding/biz are planning. “Great place to meet and hang out with friends. Casual atmosphere. Patio seating is a favorite. They really do have excellent burgers. They do have a great selection of beer however, it would be excellent if they had hard cider on tap. You do have the option of buying a bottle of your favorite wine at the attached liquor store and enjoying it for a corking fee. The staff is long-standing and ever friendly. Haskell's will always remain a favorite.

“My wife and I enjoyed an early Friday dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. I enjoyed a castle danger cream ale on tap and my wife ordered her favorite white wine. We were impressed with the generous pour she was served. I ordered steak bites for the first time. She ordered the chicken stir fry - a long time favorite. She was served a very generous amount, i.e., the largest ever. She loved her entree and I was happy with mine as well. Friday's are often busy and it was very busy yesterday. The noise level was unpleasantly high making conversation a challenge. We will be avoiding Friday dinners at Maynard's in the spring, summer and fall. We were pleased to see the lot across the street now opened for parking at a cost of $2.00. 🤗“

“A quick go to place for a fast and affordable dinner meal. I visited this location several times and I always find it to be clean, consistent, and fast. The dining area is definitely an upgrade when compared with McDonald's, Burger King, or even Wendy's. I've never had a service issue here where there was a problem with my order.“

“We had a brunch for 16 people at 11am. While they weren't able to hold seating/make reservations; they were able to make it a very short waiting time. Page and the serving crew were amazing! We had no waiting time on ordering and our server was professional and speedy. They kept the drinks coming and we had someone in our party with a lot of special food needs and they were wonderful! First place we've been to where my husband could eat an entire meal to his fill. The food was delicious! No one in the entire party had a single complaint! Wonderful blueberry rice sausages, eggs, pancakes, taco salad, hot tea, coffee, French toast, hashbrowns, English muffins, toast, and more! The decor is adorable! We're so lucky to have found this little cafe as we're from all around the US here for a wedding. It seems to be a local favorite as it was packed! Younger generations and older and everywhere in between! THE go to place if you live in the area or if you're just visiting! You won't be disappointed! “The atmosphere was comfortable, the décor, setting and layout was that of an “Old Lakeside Lodge” including an intimate space with a Fireplace. The menu was well put together and had a nice variety of choices, the food was delicious and enjoyed by the four of us. The staff was competent, friendly and personable without being intrusive. Our evening was also not complete without a welcomed tableside visit from “The Magic of Suzanne” (a different set of card tricks). Wow, live entertainment. The food was sooo good. I had the Parmesan Chicken Melt sandwich 🥪 with coleslaw.. our server was friendly and efficient.. the interior is black and the lighting was decent.. the noise was a little too loud for me.. my overall experience was positive so I will go dine there again..

“I can’t say enough positive things about the catering at the Maple Grove location. I had ordered sloppy joes for my Labor Day weekend camping trip. When I went to cook the meat, I discovered that they had given me taco meat instead. Which was, of course, disappointing. I called them the next day to let them know, and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. No excuses were made. They just asked how they can make it right. I told the catering manager that all I really wanted were the sloppy joes and he insisted that he provide a side of my choice;anything I wanted. They made it all available for me the very next day and added mac and cheese to my order. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and asked me if there was anything else I might need. Customer service!! That is so rare these days and goes a long way!! I will continue to go to Hy-Vee because of the way I was treated! And all of the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!“
