“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! (although the music was a little bit loud for conversation). I shared the cauliflower tacos and hummus plate and we each had a glass of wine and took the yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy cheesecake home (the cheesecake seemed expensive at the time; but I will purchase it again and again. Every taste was Yum Yum Yum Yum.). a lot of times when I go out to eat I think; I could’ve saved money and just ate at home. However, I truly felt my money was well spent! The food was fresh. Very tasty. The arugula salad was phenomenal, even though it was very simple. I need to come back here way more often. Thank you very much for your dedication to healthy, tasty, vegan food. “They have great food with tons of vegan options and a wonderful patio! Today I ordered my favorite dish a roti wrap and it accidentally came with chicken instead of the vegan chickpea version. That’s never happened to me there before. They felt really bad about it and made me a new one and comped my meal and that of my friend. That is above and beyond an excellent customer service. “Very no frills layout to the restaurant which I love because the focus stays on the incredible food. We tried several of the small plates and also an entree each. The service was fantastic, our server explained everything to us in detail and with enthusiasm which added to the excitement of the experience. The drinks were not only delicious but also very balanced. I would say that's a theme of the restaurant, great balance. I felt like the flavors for everything we had, from the charred shishito peppers with bonito flakes to the dungenous crab fettuccine, was very evenly balanced and everything complimented the other flavors well. This is definitely in the top 3 restaurants I've tried in Minneapolis so far. Highly recommended.“

“Truly amazing wood-fired hand crafted pizza!! Thoughtful & unique side sauces to complement their HANDMADE works of art. We enjoyed two dine in pies that included complementary dipping sauces! Our family favorite was the honey ranch and the hot honey that complemented their Hawaiian style Za perfectly. Let’s not forget the house made garlic aioli sauce *chefs kiss* We cannot wait to try their cheesesteak options when we return in a few weeks! “i don’t normally give reviews on Google but i have nothing but great things to say about Northern Fires Pizza. They catered my daughter’s wedding and ROCKED it. They showed up on time, had pizzas out quickly and they were some of the best wood fire pizzas i’ve ever had! i cannot say enough good things about this business. They also have great communication!! if you are thinking about catering a wedding with wood fire pizza - PLEASE use this place - you will not be disappointed!!“

“What a fun place to meet up with friends! The best part? I felt so comfortable and cozy in this restaurant. It’s very boho and warm. We were a group of 4 and the restaurant has a family shareable experience with their entrees so we each got something different. We ordered the fried rice, French toast, wings and biscuits and gravy. It was super delicious! We also ordered drinks and my favorite part was that they serve a spoonful of their sticky rice as soon as you sit down. It was SO good that we raved about it and they brought us a second serving. The waitress was delightful and so kind. We had never been there for brunch so she did a wonderful job explaining the menu. We spent a few hours there eating and talking and we never felt rushed. The worst part? I don’t have really anything to add here. I’m not sure if I missed the parking lot but I found street parking easily. Prices are a little higher here but worth it in my opinion.“

When we stopped the sign was on but door locked as we were the first potential customers of the day...we waited and after about 5 minutes the door opened. We were glad we waited. The place is clean...the service ok...and the food amazing. My wife's lentil dish was the best Ethiopian food I've ever had. My beef dish was very good but hers was the winner! We will definitely recommend this place to others and will come back next time we are in the Cities.“

We made reservations for the covered outdoor area and showed up a couple minutes early and they were still able to seat us right away which was excellent. It was surprisingly a really nice area as this was our first time visiting the restaurant before we went over to the falls. Everyone enjoyed their food and the portions were large. Our waiter was very attentive, they treated our dog well and the dog menu is super cute!!!The only odd thing from the whole experience was I asked for a tequila and sparkling water and she asked if I meant a skinny margarita??? Idk how that correlates at all I thought it was funny though. Either way I would definitely come back with our dog it was a nice relaxing atmosphere to enjoy dinner with family and a few drinks.“
