He told us they have a variety of original house salsas with different degrees of heat to choose from, we tried 2 and they were both very tasty. Everything had a true Mexican flavor! Very clean, it was full of Mexican and Latinamerican customers on a Sunday afternoon. It is a small restaurant inside a supermaket with a great team and genuine Mexican food. They have special discounts every weekday. I can’t wait to come back!“

Nachos al pastor is a particularly generous portion (I had already eaten half of it in the photo) and perfect to share. Chips are made fresh in house. I live for Mexican food and honestly this food was really top of the list. Everyone at the table indicated that the food was the best tasting they have had for a Mexican fare. Not just saying this. I had to think when I’ve had better, and couldn’t really come up with an answer. It was a long drive for us, but I’m going to have to make this trip again. Well done Sonora Mexican Kitchen and Bar! “I truly think this is the best Mexican food in Anoka County! Both locations! Ham Lake location is inside of the BP gas station right off of Constance and 65, you can eat inside or get takeout. They have their own app which makes online ordering a breeze! I feel like this is the best hidden food gem around, I’m assuming people either don’t realize it’s there or are turned off because it’s located inside of a BP. But it’s actually an adorable set up inside the BP and not weird at all :) I give this place 5/5 stars! 🌯🌮💕“

“I came for happy hour and ordered their October special, two chicken tamales for $12. Presented with authenticity and looking very delicious that is, until I touched the husks and felt a chill. The tamales were hot but the husks were cold. How do steamed tamales come with cold husks, I questioned? I accepted their apologies and expressed how tasty they were but thought to myself, why serve in cold husks? The tamales were very delicious and will definitely have them again. Staff was very accommodating and I highly recommended Lagos Tacos as a must stop for all occasions.“

On the negative side, parking is horrific, and there were a few hiccups with my order.Order Accuracy: Thankfully, I realized two items were missing before leaving the restaurant and the staff kindly addressed that quickly. However, another item was unfortunately missing, requiring me to drive back to get a refund. This was a bit of an inconvenience, and I hope the restaurant can double-check takeout orders more thoroughly in the future.Food: The food itself was decent, but not quite amazing. I ordered the chicken enchilada with rice and beans. I thought the beans would be refried, but they were not. My mistake for not asking. Overall, disappointed that the food wasn't quite up to par as the original Pepitos restaurant.Hoping my experience was due to an off day, and I'll probably go back one more time for a better Lupitas experience.

The meat in the ramen was good. The broth is a little spicy. The flavor was pretty strong. Overall, I thought it was okay.

The burgers are unique. As a burger it was okay. The cubana burger my friend had looked good. I probably would have liked it more than mine. Decent size.“
