The owner of this restaurant is very friendly and always stops by to ask if everything was good. Definitely a great place to try Nepalese cuisine.“

There was a slight issue with one of the entrees and our server and manager took great care of us. Will highly recommend this to other friends and family!“

“Decent salads, and many good toppings to choose from. They have a menu or you can build your own. I personally enjoy their Classic Caesar, but if you want to add some chicken, it's an upcharge. To be honest, the only drawback to this place is the price. $10 - $15 for a simple salad is a little much in my opinion. However, it's fast, and good for anyone trying to lose a few inches around the waist. Sadly, if you make it a regular occurrence, your wallet may end up getting thinner faster than you.

“Great food and excellent service. The atmosphere needs an overhaul specifically the lighting. tables and chairs. It's way to bright and the ceiling is too high and visually needs to be lowered with something decorative. Comes across as a big room with bright lights.“

“We tried Young Man today at the Japanese festival in Como Zoo. The line was long but oh my, so worth it. Sweet Moo was delicious, Hawaiian Shrimpy too. Takoyaki maybe needed couple more minutes of frying, but I got it, they were really busy that afternoon.“

Everyone was pleasant and chatty, it seemed like a great place to work.

The espresso was nice and dark with cocoa and caramel notes. Their menu had a very workhorse vibe, nothing too novel or frivolous, just solid coffee.

I loved my vegetable tacos, made with grilled wild mushrooms, zucchini, and onion, and served with a really good homemade salsa. The coffee was also very good and slightly smoky (chicory?) The crafts gift store and art gallery in the building are a welcome plus! I want to bring guests from out of town here.“

“I work downtown so I come in here once a week. I was there today 1/20/26 (around 11:15) and I know I should get her name but I always forget. Anyways , the girl at the front of the line that scoops the rice is the kindest soul. She’s always got a smile and greets me like she’s known me for years (I’ve only been working downtown since September). She’s so happy to be there and that type of customer service is worth recognizing especially with everything going on around us! Please recognize her and know that she is such an asset. I think employees like this are hard to find and little does she know the small interaction of her greeting and scooping my rice, has several times turned my day around!“

“Our company had a last minute breakfast this morning we needed catered, and found out 2days before (Wednesday night) the caterer we usually use couldn’t accommodate us. I called Ryan’s Cafe as soon as they opened Thursday morning and Ryan answered. I asked if there was any possible way he could cater breakfast for 57 the next morning by 7 am. He was in the middle of preparing for another event he was catering that day, but was gracious enough to ask questions, offer options and take down my information. He even made suggestions on which items to cut back on so I wasn’t overspending. He had the quote back to me in less than 30 minutes.Anthony, one of Ryan’s employees, arrived the next morning at 6:50 am with the food and had it all ready to serve by 7 am! The presentation was fantastic and the food even better! We had a variety of breakfast burritos and sandwiches (sausage, bacon, ham and a vegetarian option), hash browns, fresh fruit, pastries and all the condiments including butter, cream cheese, hot sauce, etc. Anthony was very helpful and gracious too!Everyone raved about how delicious and fresh the food was, and the generous quantities! And the bonus…the price was very competitive!I can’t say enough good things about Ryan, Anthony and Ryan’s Cafe! “I got some breakfast here before my appointment at M Health Fairview and it was pretty decent! In particular, all the staff were really nice and friendly. Their coffee was kind of mid, but I thought the breakfast sandwich I had was pretty good. Overall, a decent stop if you are at the clinic and need a pick me up.“

When I told the absolutely wonderful black woman behind the counter that I've never been in there before, she went straight away and to explaining the menu and how items can be customized and it helped me make a decision quickly! I also bought some extra grab and go drinks, because she is so wonderful! I will say the food is a bit on the pricey side, but if that woman is making a living wage, I'll gladly pay it when I can afford it! I will also refer other people to this location, as well!“

He lead our store in a little town in South Carolina and He and his family are wonderful caring people. The people of this town in Minnesota are getting one of the best Owner/Operators there are.
