There was ample seating for a well lit dining experience 🪑 I was on the run but quickly hit the breaks once the owner, Mira came out from the back to personally introduce herself and hand me the food 🍲 A personable and hard working business owner who takes time to lovingly prepare the food herself 🤯🤯 I felt like I lived in the neighborhood for years 🏡 Me being a very picky person when it comes to food 🍱 couldn’t say enough about everything that I tried once I got home 😊👌🏽 it was recommended by the staff at the counter to air fry the french fries at home for the best reheating experience, and that’s exactly what i did 😍😍 Most of the food was still warm by the time I made my drive back to the house so we’re talking FRESH FRESH 💦 The meat in the Mac & Cheese Shawerma was NEXT level!!! Off the grill taste and Smokiness ⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️⭐️ The drinks i had didnt last long enough for me to get pictures of 🤷🏽‍♂️🧋So you know it was top tier as well 😬 I don’t often do food reviews anymore, but this place has inspired me!!! “My friend and I had an incredible time at Owamni. My compliments to the chef. Truly one of a kind experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish ( presentation, flavor profile, texture, all natural and full of character). “We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“Amazing! We stopped here for our first time for pre-event drinks with our friends. We anticipated having one cocktail and being on our way, but were instead treated to something more akin to an experience! The GM greeted us and took our order and made sure we got to try more than just our drinks. A whole story about finding someone to re-tie my husband’s bow tie turned into a hilarious challenge for most of the staff. Even to the point that the assistant GM was going to drive to Von Maur while we finished our drinks (we declined..but wow). What kind of place does this!? Our cocktails were amazing, the charcuterie plate was delicious (the jam, honey, and cheese…just wow). But most of all, the staff made everything so memorable. We’ve never experienced anything like this! We will be back soon for a full dinner. Thank you for making our night so enjoyable!“

“Every valentines day my husband and I try a new steak restaurant. We love steak amd I couldnt cook it

In 2021 we could not go out for steak due to covid. Sample room had a take and bake meal with clear instructions. It was a great meal with baby steaks and veggies etc. But since that day I am not afraid to cook steak because of the precise instructions. They gave me what I needed.

It's now 2024 and I rock at cooking steak.

“I wanted to take a moment to shout out an amazing restuarant located in minneapolis called Nolos Kitchen & Bar! As most of you know by now my girls and I had planned to fly out to california for my bachelorette party and winded up with a cancelled flight first thing in the morning at 4am thanks to microsoft. after we arrived to the airport and stood in line for 4 hours we were told that the next flight wasn’t available for another 24hours at 6 am the next day. We decided to go get breakfast while we figured out our next move and what we were supposed to do for the next 24 hours. We arrived to Nolos in pretty low spirits but that was quickly turned around when we met our waitress. Not only was the food PHENOMENAL, but they went as far as to make us my favorite cocktail (which wasn’t even on the menu!) As we sat and enjoyed our breakfast we talked about where we should go/what we should do/ and about how tired we were because we were only running on a couple of hours of sleep. We were at the point of even contemplating piling back into the car to take a nap when our sweetheart of a waitress approached us and informed us that they had a basement bar that didn’t open until 5 pm that night. She proceeded to tell us that since the basement bar didn’t open till later the owner offered us their full basement as a safe haven for the day for us to get some sleep/ hang out in until we were ready for our next move. The basement had a lounge room for all my girls to pile in and get a few hours of sleep as well as whenever we wanted a drink or snack we could go right up stairs and order as needed. AS WELL as it was fully stocked with arcade games and a photo booth to keep us occupied.Ontop of everything they even covered 50% of our food and drink tabs😭 Nolo’s genuinely saved us that day- and i could never be more thankful that we walked into that restaurant that morning. We were met with nothing but kindess and generosity. If you want to go somewhere with kind people , AMAZING food, fun cocktails , and overall an amazing atmosphere I would HIGHLY reccomend Nolos Kitchen & Bar in minneapolis. I promise you won’t be dissapointed ! Thank you NOLO's Kitchen staff for going above and beyond !!!!“

“We come here frequently with a large group of 10-15 people. On multiple occasions we’ve had Lexi as a server and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is so incredibly kind and does an absolutely fantastic job taking care of our group. Her personality is bubbly and vibrant. She has the service down to a science. Our drinks stay full. Our food is out all together, hot, and delivered in a timely manner. She gets all our bills taken care of smoothly. We’ve taken our group to other restaurants in the area and they seem visibly and audibly annoyed by us being there. I get it, we’re a big group at the end of the night. It can’t be easy. But Lexi makes us feel so welcome. She is an incredible asset to the team at The Lowry. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you to The Lowry and a huge thank you to Lexi!“

“Great place to go for fast food. The bacon butterburger with fries is my meal of choice. The double is a bit much for me, because I stuff the burger with French fries.
I order the burger with a large fries, instead of the "make it a basket" deal, simply because the basket is just a medium fry and drink added on, I believe.
The cheese curds and pretzel bites are great sides, with enough cheese sauce with it to use on pretzels and French fries.
They also have a cooler to buy the cement mixers to go. I have never tried them myself, but definitely gonna give one a shot. Would have already if they were $1 cheaper...hint hint
If you are getting fast food, this place is definitely worth the stop. My meal is around $10, and that works great for me, and if I have the extra bucks, I add pretzels bites.

“I was staying in the University of Minnesota and this place was a life saver when I did not want to eat in the dining hall. Their falafel sandwich was genuinely some of the best falafel I have ever had and their fries were undoubtedly the best fries I have ever had. The service was super quick and we got our food in under 10 minutes consistently. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere to it. Would strongly recommend if you are in the area!“

“Edit: I finally dined there. The food was fantastic, my wife loved the onion rings and the careful service that we were given. Burgers were great. Coleslaw was actually refreshing, and not mayo dumped. Matt and his staff gave us a wonderful time on New Years Day. I will be back, with a bottle of heinz which is a small complaint.

Edit: The manager was very very prompt in responding to my email in resolving this year. In prompt it was less than about 30 minutes when I reached out via email. Which is actually, pretty darn impressive nowadays to take responsibility instead of passing the buck. They get five stars now.

I made Christmas reservations only to learn less than three days before Christmas that they weren't actually open. Their site allowed me to make a reservation. I called them to confirm if they were closed as I found out not from them at all. They did confirm it, and then laid blame on my insisuating that since they've never been open for Xmas, I should of known. Okay, then tell that to your reservation page.Pathetic service right before the holidays.

Even after I called and said it was taken down. It's still up allowing others to book a reservation. I hope there ain't some family that shows up expecting a reservation thay never should of been placed.“
