“Visiting friends wanted to take me to dinner. I chose Patrick's because they lived in Europe for many years and are very fond of French cuisine. Our server, Miriam, was attentive and very pleasant. The food was excellent (as I knew it would be). My friends said it was authentic and reminded them of meals they had in France and Switzerland. The bottle of wine we shared was a lovely Cabernet Franc and went well with all our meals, ranging from the Salade Nicoise to the Shrimp Scampi to the Boeuf Bourguignon. As we were finishing our meal, one of my friends mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday, and Miriam gifted us one of the desserts we had ordered. We had a wonderful evening and my friends made me promise that we would return to Patrick's the next time they come to town! Thank you for a very memorable evening.“

“Coolest atmosphere. Consistently delicious food (delivery, takeout or in-house!). Excellent staff. We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats. Thank you Luce for honoring the booth request and being consistent with excellent food and service - it made a world of difference for our whole family! ("Tubular" as our visiting teen said)“

“This place is not inexpensive; but the food is worth every single penny. It’s unique, it’s vegan, it’s delicious, and it’s healthy. The atmosphere is very comfortable. (although the music was a little bit loud for conversation). I shared the cauliflower tacos and hummus plate and we each had a glass of wine and took the yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy cheesecake home (the cheesecake seemed expensive at the time; but I will purchase it again and again. Every taste was Yum Yum Yum Yum.). a lot of times when I go out to eat I think; I could’ve saved money and just ate at home. However, I truly felt my money was well spent! The food was fresh. Very tasty. The arugula salad was phenomenal, even though it was very simple. I need to come back here way more often. Thank you very much for your dedication to healthy, tasty, vegan food. Also, their dedication to quality continues year after year. I think that’s wonderful.“

“Delicious vegan food served here! My wife and I had lunch on 8/6/25. We both had the Mac and Cheese with Collards. This is vegan food prepared VERY WELL, by an owner who is passionate about what he presents to the public. I highly recommend Trio and encourage anyone to go as soon as possible!“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. “My husband and I chose to celebrate our one year anniversary here today. It was both of our first times dining at Broders’ and we enjoyed everything about this wonderful experience! Upon arriving we were attempting to take a selfie photo outside and one of the employees opened the front door and asked us if we would like him to take our photo. Tyson so kindly took several photo angles and opened up the door for us as we walked in. It truly felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s warm and inviting home. Our sweet waitress helped me select the most delectable glass of wine I have ever tasted. Words cannot explain how delicious the pasta was… we lapped up every single drop and were in absolute food heaven. To top it all off… we were treated to a free dessert of our choosing along with two chocolate cocoa truffles on the house!! After we finished our meal we went across the street to their storefront to purchase some pasta and sauce to enjoy at some point in the coming weeks. We will definitely be back for all special occasions and certainly for our two year anniversary. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience and meal this is the place!! Enjoy!“

I LOVE Wedge salads, but this one, this one was special - the most delicious wedge salad I’ve ever eaten. The addition of the dill was unexpected but soooo welcome. The macaroni portion, even as split, was so generous and very tasty. The truffle fries were very flavorful, and the burger - I am ashamed to say I can’t attest to it because my eyes were much larger than my stomach & I had to take it to go. The rest of the crew with me all agreed their food was also delicious. If we ever have the fortune to travel back to the area, we agreed we would all come back to Red Cow. Our service was also top notch, I wish I could remember our server’s name. She was very sweet!“

“The best bakery in the whole world.

As one of the best bakeries in the whole world, and one that my family has loved for years, it was a no brainer to order from them when it came to provide food for my grandma's funeral.

I remember walking in to pick up our (very large) order and realizing that I had the wrong pick up time. The pastries were far from ready. Given the grief of the day, I am confident I wasn't a pleasant customer, and I'm confident I didn't take responsibility for my mistake. And yet, rather than send me on my way, the owner and her employees took basically every pastry they had on the shelving and gave it to me, likely at the expense of their current business and their current customers. They then helped me bring my order to my car, and when I offered to help them carry some boxes, the owner told me she didn't want me to get my suit dirty. She said she was sorry for my loss and then went back inside.

The pastries were a hit, but they wouldn't have been possible without Black Walnut's kindness. This review is a thank you and an apology. Thank you for your kindness. I am sorry I was so out of it.

Given the extremely high quality of their food and taste at a more than reasonable price, Black Walnut is an extremely easy bakery to fall in love with. Coupled with their kindness and warmth, there really is no place on Earth that compares.“
