“I love sours, been to many places in MN and other states. The Glonky is the best I have ever had but also the priciest. If you want a premium sour you will pay a premium price. Little cheaper in cans. Wish I still lived in MN so i could come more frequently but will stop in on our visits.
By the way... they say Asheville has the greatest breweries. Not even close to MN. MN, the best thing you have going for your major cities is your breweries, treat them well.“

“Likes: the beer, the location, and the ethos. I tried the Tokki rice lager and the Bee Sting vanila honey cream ale; they both tasted great. Tokki = delicate, Bee Sting (inspired by the German Bienenstich cake) is sweet. Moon Palace Books is next door, so you can browse, purchase, and read your new find with a beer if you so desire. Lots of space -- there's a main level indoors, and a second indoor level (though that was reserved on my visit) and a patio out back next to the parking lot. The intersection of Minnehaha and Lake Street has a lot going on. I like that they not only have a land acknowledgment on their website but also mention the indigenous organizations they work with. Putting one's money where one's mouth is. I also like the name, Arbeiter, which places the rights of the worker front and center.
Dislikes: Surprise music. My book club had a meeting there and we had to sit outside because we wouldn't have been able to hear each other over the live music indoors. It was just barely warm enough to be outside in the evening. I am now wondering whether this is an every-night thing or an occasional thing. It wasn't on the events calendar so no way to avoid.

“This is my favorite brewery in Minnesota.
The beer is excellent and the building is charming inside and out.
My wife and I found a quiet corner of the outdoor patio yesterday beneath the shade and spent a fabulous Memorial Day here.
My sole complaint is that the bathrooms are too far from the taproom and even further from the outdoors space.“

“We were here for the first time last night. A lot of fun, the beers we tried were excellent. A porter and the “Lunchbox”. We had come because one of our favorite food trucks was parked there. Will definitely be back!
The only negative is, there are very few low-top tables. All booths, and all were taken. We just dislike high tops, because getting up and down the high stools is uncomfortable for our old knees. If there were more lower tables, we’d be more comfortable, but recognize this is a personal preference.“

“One of the true hidden gems of the Twin Cities metro, an absolutely fantastic nerd and even kid-friendly space (foosball, arcade machines, darts are all favorites). There are few better places to meet up and play a game - personally, not being a sports person, I love the lack of TVs, nothing to sap your attention or make you feel captive to random commercials. I go there regularly to play TTRPGs. Great beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic seltzers, you can BYOF (Mashawi grill up the road is delicious). The beers aren't the usual 6 IPAs and 5 sours, there's a nice mix of British and German styles (including wheat beers, which are weirdly hard to find).
There are absolutely a million play spaces in different nooks and crannies in the building, you can always find a quiet place to play even if there's music, etc. The owner hosts tons of events, nerdy and otherwise. I only wish I could drink more beer and go more often.“
“Come experience an ever growing selection of brewed on site beer. They serve delicious pizza and some snacks; the pizza is baked to order in the trailer outside (although you order at the counter inside). The patio is lovely in spring, summer, and fall... And tolerable in the winter. If you have a special event, the barrel room is available for rent. There are many events such as trivia and bags leagues. Also beer. Good beer. And hard seltzer.
The people here are very friendly and efficient. Don't pass up the opportunity to take home beer in can or crowler format.

“We went to Steel Toe for the first time today. We enjoyed the best of Minneapolis summer entertainment. They have a nice outdoor area with a food truck for your tummy. We played a trivia game and saw others playing cribbage. It was quiet and lots of actual chatting and interacting that doesn't happen when music or TV is overbearing.“
“All I have to say about this place is if it built the patio on xcel's land but it takes five or six years for xcel Energy to challenge it hasn't xcel already forfeited that because if I build a fence somewhere near/slightly on my neighbor's property but they don't contest it. Isn't considered it's okay at that point because they didn't dispute it in time?“

“We hung out here for my nephew’s birthday. This would be all of our first time here. We’re a pretty young group (24-32 year olds with some toddlers) and we happen to walk into a dance night. It was so much fun! The vibes were good. Music was different for us but still enjoyable. Workers checked in on us to make sure we were doing all right. I left 2 gift bags there and they kept it safe for the next day. Thank you! Definitely coming back.“

David gave us a tour of the facility both times and he was so funny, interesting, and very engaging for a large tour group! He was very knowledgeable of the history of the creation of beer and compared it to how their product is made today. I love that this is a woman owned company and is so involved in giving back to the community and making a difference. I can’t wait to go to their new location!“

“Okay, first time here and I understand all the great reviews of The former Mavericks. Had the Forbidden Door (on Tony Cu's advice) with fries for the lunch special. The flavor mix on the big wings was delicious. The crunchy coated fries were too. All kinda self service from a touchscreen. The atmosphere was pretty cool too, nice high tops, TVs, games to play, and 4 big doors to open to the patio when it's not so hot. They're just down the road, and we'll certainly be back!“

“Great place to meet up in downtown Minneapolis before a game, Fulton Brewery is the best place to meet your friends before a Twins game at Target Field.
Perfect location right on the edge of the residential area and the stadium district, so you avoid the chaos but stay close enough to walk. Parking is actually manageable (rare downtown), which makes coordinating a group way easier.
We met up with friends here before the game and it checked every box—plenty of space, easy to find, and a great atmosphere to kick things off.
The new kitchen is a big upgrade. Solid comfort food that actually holds its own—not just “brewery snacks.” with with 20 taps ranging from classic beers, THC to seltzers for the gluten free crowd.
If you’re searching for a downtown Minneapolis brewery, a pre-game meetup spot, or just a reliable place to gather with friends as you head to the events—this is a fun place.“
“I've searched for microbreweries and tap rooms in that area on Google maps regularly for at least last 5 years, and for some reason the first time this place came up in my search was today, even though they've been there for 7 years. It's on my way home from work so I went there immediately. I love it. I don't even know how to describe it adequately. They have more different kinds beers than pretty much any microbrewery I've been to before. They are on the end space in a sort of business park-y type place near to 169, inside it's like Knights armor and hobbit hole decor meets tap room that does live music and events for things like Jeep owners that collect those little plastic ducks. There's a get- ready- for Renaissance- festival event scheduled for August 8th. I can't wait to go back again next week!“

“I just started really getting into pizza. And this one was wonderful! There was good balance in all ingredients on our pizza. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The crust was soft without being chewy or doughy. Our order was cooked fast, too! We were pleasantly surprised by the speed our order came out. “I really like Surly's beer but never had the opportunity to visit the Beer Hall. I was warmly received, but not told about restaurant week specials. I enjoyed trying a Mosh Pit Hazy IPA - yummy. I ordered some mahi tacos. They were OK but expensive for what I got. There were no 'sides' I could order! I ordered chicken tacos. It was a small serving of pulled chicken. Again, way too expensive for what I got. Would have liked a side salad or fries. I sat at the bar. Service was friendly and fast. It was a good first visit. Will not be rushing back anytime soon. Too bad.“
