“First timers to Gather, and we’ll definitely be back when we’re in town! We had Biscuits and Gravy and eggs, a rhubarb turnover, and a chocolate chip cookie. The biscuits and gravy with two eggs was incredible. We highly recommend! The deserts were off the charts- how do they get their turnovers so flaky??? Gather was a great find!“

“I walked over to The King’s House for lunch while getting my motorcycle tuned up at Davis Motorsports just down the street. I got one of their specials, the taco salad with chicken. It was among the best taco salads I’ve had. I especially enjoyed the burst of flavor from the fresh cherry tomatoes generously embedded in the salad. The shell is clearly home made, as is the unique sauce. The seasoning and herbs on the chicken were also perfect. Everything was very fresh. The presentation was excellent. Their ice tea is clearly brewed fresh too. I went ahead and had a mojito for desert and found it well crafted and refreshing on a July afternoon.

My server was professional and personable.

The place wasn’t very busy at lunch time. But I got the impression their busy time is evenings. Tables are nicely spaced. They have outdoor dining. Ample free parking in their dedicated lot. I enjoyed their playlist as I ate - a diverse mix of mostly alternative soft rock. I was pleased that they didn’t have any distracting TVs in the restaurant.

Everything is accessible to wheelchairs.

Kid-friendliness: Wooden tables and chairs, concrete floor - nothing fancy about the space - but everything is clean and comfortable. It would be an welcoming place to bring the whole family.

“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! “Wonderful little room with fireplace to celebrate my son’s birthday! Food and drinks, and beer was great! We had a burger, chicken sandwich, pizza, and garlic bread from the appetizer menu. At the end, our waitress brought us a brownie and ice cream dessert for my son’s birthday! OMG!! Everything was delicious and it was a great experience! We will be back…., worth the 1/2 hour drive!“

“One of the best outdoor patios in Buffalo. Met some friends here for dinner - was my first time since they rebranded the restaurant. Had heard that some of the food was heavy on the salt so I went with the watermelon feta salmon salad. The salmon was a bit salty but overall was delicious. Service was great and often checked on us.“

“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“We reserved a party room for a small business event. Deb was very easy to work with and Michelle was helpful when I had questions and Deb wasn't available. Their rates were incredibly reasonable. The flexibility was hard to beat! When we arrived, Mike and Deb were great about making sure we had what we needed. We had 2 servers- mine was Emily and she was very on top of things. The food was good and the drinks were good- I heard no complaints from any of our guests about the food, drinks or service. Kudos to the kitchen for pace and standard. Also, the room afforded a lot of space and a great deal of privacy from the rest of the bar which was perfect for us. Overall, I wish every venue was as great as this one! Thanks Liberty crew!“

“We had a large party and got there early to make sure we had enough tables. The staff were wonderful, attentive and helpful, especially with accommodating dietary needs. I accidentally found THE BEST CHEESE CURDS I HAVE EVER HAD! The food was amazing, great burgers, quesadillas, ealleye amd steak. Everyone was happy! Expect us back!
