“I spend a lot of time thinking about the carne asada street tacos and I eat them every chance I get. These tacos are SO GOOD. And the staff is very friendly! When I call for takeout the service is always so fast and I’m always so happy with the food!!! Guadalajara for life. These tacos mean so much to me.“

“First of all this review is about 10 years overdue, second of all I am appalled to see 1 star reviews for this establishment and I won't tolerate this libel and slander any longer. In the decade I've dined here they have never done me wrong. This place is undefeated in terms of reliability and hiring managers across the world need to study this place because every staff member they've hired across their entire history have been the nicest and most down to earth people ever. I could write a Harry Potter length book on how great this place and its people have been to me as a customer. I can only hope my future children will be half as nice as the people here have been to me over the years.“

“Haven't been to Chipotle in a long time and I've heard people complain about the portions and price. I thought the portion was still generous and it was still under $10, it's hard to beat that these days especially for the quality.“

“Ever since I tried my first burrito at their food truck years ago, best burrito I have ever had. Hands down my favorite go to place for lunch. Owner is a great man. I needed a screwdriver to alter my idling screw on my classic truck and he was more than happy to assist. Carne asada burrito is tops.“

“Delicious fresh Mexican food, very good quality, better than Chipotle, family owned, dairy free guac, Mario (owner) originally made me some on-the-house cream cheese filled donuts, but I told him I'm vegan so he immediately went back and made me some buñeulo/churro chips with a raspberry dipping sauce. That is GREAT service that he in no way had to do, he is just that nice of a guy! The kids working there were very friendly as well and seem to enjoy their jobs and working for Mario. I wish there were more locations of this in the metro, but that makes it a treat to come out to Medina. I'd never heard of this place, and had passed by it many times before finally stopping in and I highly recommend it! You can get made to order vegan taco, burrito, nacho, and bowl options. “We made our trek to Maple Grove and had to stop for a Rojo margarita, chips, salsa and carnitas tacos. Ashley was our amazing server and the experience was wonderful as usual. “We've ordered here a few times, and the food has been superb. The service is friendly, and best of all, they accept card payment!
We ordered taco platters, where you get 3 tacos, plus a side of refried beans and rice. The beans and rice are flavorful and delicious. The tacos we went with were the pollo (chicken), carnitas (pork), and carne asada (steak). They came on corn tortillas (as they should) topped with onions and cilantro. The tortillas were soft and scrumptious, and the ingredients were cooked perfectly.
We also ordered a side of the chicken nachos which was a HUGE portion. The tortilla chips were a little soft, but what the chip consistency lacked the toppings made up for. The chicken was well-seasoned for a perfect flavor combo with the jalapeños, cheese, pico, and crema toppings. We will be back!
Tip: Don't sleep on the taco sauce they provide. The avocado and habanero salsas were soooo good.
4 stars for atmosphere because its a food truck and not an actual sit-down restaurant. It's not a knock on the business, but with only 1 picnic table to sit at, it leaves a little to be desired when you want to eat, right then, right there.“

“10–20 May 8, 2025 me and my family enjoyed a dinner here for my brothers 43 Birthday. Our experience was very good, food was top notch, service was great, and location was nice with lots of parking close by. This restaurant was also very respectful to our group as we has a severe dog with and the restaurant staff were very welcoming... However a naboring older couple dint approve of the dog but only gave us the stink eye the hour we were there. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!“

“I orginally ordered two grilled chicken tacos and one shredded beef taco, then I was still hungry so I ordered three additional grilled chicken tacos. The chicken meat was not very flavorful or hot, and the chicken meat seemed a bit chewy and tuff. The shredded beef taco was extremely greasy and gross. I only ate what i ordered that was served to out of respect and because I was extremely hungry. I ordered a ice water with a lemon with my meal, so there was no charge for that. Although when the bill came I was in shock to get a bill for $36 for six tacos with absolutely nothing else. I brought it to another staff members attention and he did a slight adjustment on my bill to make it $32 although that is still ridiculous for six tacos. I will never give this restaurant any business ever again and I am going to recommend all my colleagues,friends and associates don't give them any business either.“

“I had been here a few times in the past and everything always tastes so fresh. I love how they make the tortillas right there in front of you. A fresh warm tortilla tastes absolutely delicious. I have only gotten the chicken, but they have always given me a good amount of chicken and it has a nice seasoning to it that makes it really good! I like adding the queso to my tacos. I think from now on I’m going to order it on the side because it makes the tacos so messy to eat. The restaurant is always very clean and tidy. The staff is always very kind and polite.“

“Went here twice in the last couple of weeks haha. Once at dinner on a Saturday and it was packed. We waited maybe 10 minutes for a table for 3 of us. Once we were seated though it took quite some time before anyone came and greeted us at the table beyond the initial salsa and chips drop off, which I will say was very fast both times! But it took a while for drinks. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. It took about an hour to get our food. However, the food was delicious and came out fresh! We weren’t offered refills of drinks until we had far finished our meals. But maybe we eat/drink fast haha. It was super busy so I completely understood! We paid and were able to leave fairly quickly after that- service was fast to process that. Today my service experience was completely different. I admittedly went around 11:30am by myself. The place was empty minus one bigger table of maybe 10 adults? When I first got there, that is. I was seated immediately. Chips and salsa immediately. Within maybe 5 minutes, someone came to take my order and I was able or order all at once again drink and food. Within 15 minutes of being seated, I was eating. The food was even more amazing today and highly recommend the lunch menu! The server was very attentive to refilling drink and checking on how food was. Overall we have loved having this place so close to home and plan to eat here many many more times! We probably will just try to avoid busier times for a while until they maybe get into the swing of things! Will say when I left from lunch today around 12:30pm it was starting to get busy, so I am super happy for them to be doing so well it seems! Highly recommend going here! Btw- by refills I just mean pop/water- I’m not sure if our experience would have been different have we ordered any alcohol. Anyway, definitely go here!! :)“

“I stopped by Taco John's and ordered the Potato Olés® Scrambler, chips and guacamole, and a churro—and it was a seriously satisfying meal! The scrambler was hearty and flavorful, so filling I couldn’t even finish it all. The chips and guac were fresh and tasty, and honestly probably pushed me over the edge. And I couldn’t resist finishing with a churro—crisp, sweet, and absolutely delicious. Definitely hit the spot. I’ll be back!“
