“5 stars for food, 5 for service, and it's a local family restaurant with a separate bar, gets 5 stars. This isn't fancy food, it's good food. Stop in wearing your baseball gear and you'll fit right in. Service has always been great, food has never disappointed, and overall it's a fantastic neighborhood bar/restaurant.“

“My husband and 2 year old granddaughter dined in tonight at this location. A group of 5 teenagers were causing a disruption in the dining area. Bouncing a basketball and throwing trash on the floor, left trash on 3 tables then they moved to a different table. An employee asked them to please pick up their trash and they got mouthy with her and started swearing and refused to pick up the trash. 2 men at separate times went up to them and told them to knock it off or leave. An EMPLOYEE of Culvers named NOAH who was working also got mouthy with one of the customers and was laughing and siding with the disruptive teenagers. (one said he was 14). i sure hope i never see that employee NOAH at this location again or i will not be at that restaurant again.“

“If anyone would like a good restaurant to eat at I would suggest going to the North Pole restaurant in Newport Minnesota. The staff are nice and when you ask them for something they will get it for you right away.“

“I am always skeptical of bar food, but Yankee Tavern was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the burrito bowl with the brisket on the side (I'm a vegetarian) and they were easily able to accommodate the request and give the brisket to my table mate. The food was incredibly flavorful. Yes, even without the meat. The rest of our party shared the same sentiment. The French fries were crispy, the food hot, the portions large, and the service was great. My only complaint is they only played new country music the entire time. That may actually keep me from returning.

Maybe I'll just get it to go next time.....“

“Overall on a scale of 1-10. I'd give daves hot chicken a SOLID 6/10.
Sliders are the best in my opinion.
Chicken tenders/sliders are Large and filling.
Mild: NO heat
Medium: NO heat
Hot: mild heat
Extra hot: Medium heat.
Carolina reaper: Hot.

My only complaint would be prices.
38$ for 2 Sliders, 3 tenders, 2 fries, 1 bottled coke.“

Wish my youngests food came out at the same time as the other 4 of us (his came out 10 minutes later and he’s 2) but portions were so big we had enough of our food to share as he didn’t eat his when it finally came. “I just came here to say these were the best bang bang skrimp wraps I've ever had. crunch, on point! sauce, on point! even the slaw which I'm usually not a huge fan of by itself, on point! perfect portion, cherry coke on tap was great too! My friend had the nachos and they were huge, although they were served in a large bowl, I would find it easier for cheese distribution if served on a platter of some sort but that's about it, still recommending!“

“We are still talking about our Christmas Day brunch. The The staffs attention to detail, and the quality of service and food were impeccable. I cannot wait to go back for dinner with friends and family. In addition to the wonderful food, the space was so beautiful. It was busy, but not at all loud. The executive chef was a master at checking every plate that left the kitchen to make sure it met his standards. It  was fascinating, watching their symmetry throughout the service.  I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone I see.“

“The absolute best customer service ANYWHERE! I can tell you … as a past employee there,,,,they do their best to fill a need but do it in a fun way! I was there for 25 years and as a top seller I can say it was the best 25 of my life. Yes, it’s a commissioned store but, they really DO see the customer. “First time here, breakfast buffet was ok. Probably do an omelette tomorrow, someone else had one and it looked delightful.Hit the bar at around 7 pm, excellent service. Day after Christmas you never know what you’re going to get! There were a few people in/at the at and a large group; bartender was very attentive. Ordered a buffalo chicken flatbread and was blown away. Sucker was loaded, tons of chicken and so much flavor! I’ve been disappointed so many times with the heat level of buffalo chicken… this was soooo good! Highly recommend. I will stay here again without doubt.“

“I wanted to treat my wife to a steak for her birthday at Texas Roadhouse for lunch but found out after arrival that they don't open until 3pm. BTW their website says they open at 11am! I googled 'steak restaurant near me' and found Farmington Steak House 15mins away. Took the family there and it was surprisingly amazing for a small spot. The prices were very reasonable and we got more food than we could finish. We plan on going back next week.“

“Local to me, tried for the first time. Opted for take out. Order was ready on time, fries delicious. Smoke house wrap was delicious, hot, juicy. Only thing I would change is adding coleslaw instead of lettuce, but that's a personal preference on how I like my bbq handhelds!“

“Yesterday my family celebrated my retirement with a family lunch at my favorite restaurant - Red Robin in Apple Valley. Most of the group had never been to a Red Robin but they are now big fans just like me. The food was exceptional, Heather (our server) was fantastic, and even though we were the only ones who knew it was a special occasion, we were treated to the highest level of customer service! Heather and everyone involved in our visit made my day. Thank you so much!“

“Celebrated 2 Birthday’s and the food was fabulous. Started with a Blooming Onion which was very good. Shrimp skewers on seasoned rice was excellent along with fresh green broccoli and a salad which I took home. Portions are big. Enough for a second meal.And a complimentary ice cream sundae. Fresh made rolls were excellent as well. Service was superb. Fun place to celebrate any occasion The other 3 people at our table enjoyed the shrimp, 6 oz filet and salmon. “We stopped here going to get lights at gertens for my daughters house. We did the 2 for 25 deal. I had the cheeseburger grilled cheese. It looked fantastic had a bit of oil taste to it kinda like the grill maybe idk. The onion rings were awesome as were the fries. Overall was good value but the sandwich needs to be fixed. Atmosphere was great. Server was friendly.“

“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! “I went to meet a friend today at Apple Valley Perkins. The lot was full. I am disabled. Both senior citizen spots were filled. Three of us got there about the same time so we pulled into spots next to the senior citizen spots. One of the cashiers (long gray hair)came out throwing her arms up in the air and motioning for us to leave. I rolled down my window and she hollered, "THOSE AREN'T PARKING SPOTS!! THERE AREN'T ANY LINES!" She motions like she was making lines on the pavement The other two cars LEFT! I stayed ONLY because I was meeting a friend. SERIOUSLY? This is how you treat your customers? My friend showed up and she parked where I was going to park. The hostess was on the phone so she didn't control the parking. A while later, she came around to all the tables asking who owned the white vehicle out in the lot. We frequent Perkins a lot and have parked in those spots before with no problems. A walk from Petco is a little to much. Especially for a disabled person.“
